Her mystical voice was amazing. It's the real essence of a singer. When we say Kpop, we came to think about those dance steps, aegyos or random expressions to make it appealing. But Hayi's voice is enough to give you the 'WOW' effect. Daebak. :)

Actually, I think the problem with a lot of the "emotionless" commenters is that they're transitioning from cartoons to idol groups and have not yet developed the ability to appreciate the nuances of a more sophisticated, mature singing style (which, amazingly for her age, Lee Hi has). They're still looking for exaggerated, cartoonish gestures and facial expressions to tell them what emotions are supposed to be felt. I actually hope that Lee Hi doesn't feel pressured to cater to the crowd that wants to see cartoonish gestures and expressions.
If you close your eyes & listen you can *feel* ALL the emotions. Back in the day when there was only radio, that's all one had to go on. Some people don't need to move their face much to to sing, some do - it doesn't mean anything, it's just their body. Some people EXAGGERATE their expression to convey an emotion because either they have been told to, or they feel it is best to, or whatever - again - IT DOESN'T MATTER as long as the sound is GOOD! At any rate, This song is AMAZING to me, & Lee Hi's voice is SO GOOD regardless if her face NEVER moves an INCH! I am her fan. I think she has a deep, rich soulful voice, & even if her face does not convey that to some, it is SO beautiful nonetheless, & it doesn't bother me, regardless. I believe she is a young, gifted talent & I look forward to what she brings next :)

Most people find her singing to be particularly effective in communicating the emotion of whatever song she is singing. The irony is that this song is about emotional detachment and an indifference to love, and the people who don't understand the lyrics are essentially complaining that she seems to give a feeling of emotional detachment and indifference. Nowadays, almost all of KPOP female singers and groups have pretty much the same style.. Yes they are really pretty but sometimes they "over-try" to create that "cute" and "young" looking... Or they will tend to go for sexy styles like perfect dolls which I can hardly recognize the different between those KPOP girls..
