It's nice hearing about it from another Scorpio ascendant because I can really relate and you point out things that most other people don't really. My sun is Also Scorpio and my moon is Gemini. I have a lot of Scorpio energy but I can go in the grey area when it's personal to me. As a scorpio rising, I am always tempted to LOL when I think someone is being narcissistic about their astrology. (as I privately do so myself in the comfort of observing behind a computer screen). You actually brought up a lot of very true/good points, so I can't pick on you too much. And but if I control my environment, then I don't have to control myself whaaat ? It's true though, I think many of us don't realize what we are saying until after, but then I know how we reflect on it and don't care much anyway. For the past few weeks I've started really digging in to astrology and up until today I was under the impression that I was a Gemini rising (Sun and Mercury in Gemini too!). Turns out I mixed up the am/pm of my birth time... needless to say I was a little confused given I'm quite introverted and I attract painfully awkward social situations like a magnet - not characteristic of Gemini rising from what I could find. I swear a lot of the time I can't even look people in the eyes for too long because I can see (and feel) how uncomfortable they get! Finding this out today hit me like a ton of bricks and basically explained my life. Luckily I've found a lovely partner in recent years who's helped me with my scorpio projection in ways I probably couldn't have done alone. Anyways it's nice being able to relate with people you haven't met on such a deep level, cheers dude!
I, too, had the info of my birth time wrong for a while before I actually got it correct and came to know of my Scorpio rising. Though the whole time, those were the traits that matched me to a tea. For the longest time I was under the impression of having a Sagittarius ascendant, which wasn't too hard for me to believe because of my Sag moon, which shines through so much because it's in my first house. However, since the rising point is defiantly more of that first impressions persona (among so much more,) I knew Sag didn't fit that part of me. You can detect a Scorpio rising from miles away. We are much like magnets with people. We are who we are, and come with a lot of power. People will either accept that or they won't. It has nothing to do with us as people, as people will judge this part of us without even knowing a single detail of who we are as a person. I'm learning to kind of find amusement out of the ones who squirm around me instead of taking it personally. :)
It really is a sneaky sign isn't it, in that others are more aware of it than you are if you haven't realized it yet. No wonder why it's associated with the unconscious.. Now I can try to get amusement out of awkwardness instead of thinking I'm a weirdo aha :P

Everything you said was spot on- especially about the depth of thinking and complexity and emotions and intensity. I have always felt like i was not 100 aries sun. just found out recently that i am a scorpio rising and it makes so much sense! I always felt a little darker in contrast with a typical aries personality. A little bit more brooding and philosophical and serious. I have also been told all my life that I can let my emotions take control too often. When people first meet me they thought I was intimidating (especially to men) and a lot of women don't like me. It's not until after people get to know me that they realize how I am not always serious and brooding and intense. I just carry myself with confidence wherever i go. I am working on my first impressions though lately i am trying to smile more just to tone it down a bit. I think it's cool some people can be inspired by you and your fierceness and confidence but not everyone vibes with that. I am trying to be more careful in the way i talks and how i look in my face in public lol. I didn't know or realize very much about the birth chart or how its not just all bout your sun sign and there is so much more complexity to ourselves. Thanks for the info! I'm finding that the older I get my Scorpio side is more prominent. I just recent started to learn about astrology on a level the that's deeper than a sun sign. I feel both signs care and love very deeply, and work hard at anything they set their minds to. But, at the same time Virgo tends to worry a lot and Scorpio can be paranoid. Being more optimistic is something I'm constantly working on. Now I'm starting to understand why some people can feel intimidated by me even when I don't mean for it to happen. People either like me, love me, or dislike me. There's no in between. Some people have even accused me of staring at them during conversation when really I was just giving them my undivided attention. Trust issues-yep. Sometimes, I tend to expect the worst of people even when it's not warranted. Especially, when it comes to relationships and dating. Some of that could be because for 12 years of my life my father was MIA. In a nutshell, it's just something I need to be aware of and accept. I feel like I have the best and sometimes worst of both signs.

This was cool. Much better and more thoughtful description than I usually see in astrology. I'm Scorpio ascendant, Gemini sun and Virgo moon and people have told me this is a very odd triad of astrology signs. I consider my nature as very aware of all the paradox in life. For instance, for me, personal power is all about my own surrender. In many ways and for many people, I'm a little too heady for them to even understand because of my love for metaphysics, writing and having crazy conversations. Hey, I'm actually a Scorpio Ascendant, Aries Sun, Aquarius Moon (Virgo MC). I'm also one of those astrology buffs who has become OBSESSED with knowing about birth charts, what each planet means, etc. I even got my coworkers hooked and it blew their minds lol. I've watched a few Scorpio Ascendant videos but yours has been the best, probably because you are one and actually know what you're talking about. I'm often called "aggressive" because I'm very direct and not afraid to tell the truth. Some people think I'm emotionally detached but I just rather use common sense than get stuck in my feelings (like Pisces for example). But people always come to me with their problems or want my advice. -_- I wanted your advice about the Scorpio/Aries combination. As you mentioned that's feminine aggressiveness and masculine aggressiveness. A lot of people get shocked because I'm not the stereotypical female prototype.

Virgo here with Scorpio ascendant.Don't be so hard on yourself,there are worse signs to be born under than Virgo(but I'm too tactful to mention them).Scorpio is the most awesome sign I must say and most of my dearest friends have always been born under that sign.For Virgos,even though we are supposed to be compatible with all 3 water signs, I have noticed that Cancerians can be way too clingy and demanding and Pisceans seem to drift off into a world of their own which can be hard for any earth sign to tolerate. I may be biased as Scorpio is the only water sign in my birth chart. Capricorns tend to be the easiest to get along with out of the earth signs,however I noticed that all 3 earth signs can bring out the stubborn side of me more than the other 9 signs.What has been your experience?

I do really well with both Capricorn and Cancer energy, and love just about every Scorpio I meet. Taurus is another one that I defiantly need in my life. Like Pisces, they help keep me grounded and balanced. I find the Scorpio in my chart really dominates, and I need the foundation of Taurus to keep my Scorpio waters from getting too cray. :D
Thank you for your personal self observance. You really shared so eloquently as well. I went through my life thinking I was sag rising, yet it truly never fit me. I learned I'm a Scorpio in the 26°. Oddly enough my grandmother was a sun Scorp and the malefic side of her qualities frustrate me (seeing them in my persona). These issues I must work through. I wish I had all this knowledge so long ago. So much my younger self might had one differently. Oh well, here forward, I shall apply what I can for self correction. :)
Interesting to note! I, as well, thought I was Sag rising for the longest time until I got my correct birth time. The Sag felt somewhat familiar for the fact that's my Moon, but it just didn't fit for my rising. Discovering it was Scorpio defiantly changed a lot for me. All the pieces started fitting together so easily.

Awesome video! I have Scorpio Sun and ASC with Pisces Moon - I completely agree about how people perceive me. I find that as soon as people realise my need to understand things so deeply or completely with everything, they find it intimidating or threatening to them. Pisces moon softens my presence quite a lot. think my moon shines more where I am percieved as aloof, with my head in the clouds or day dreaming about things. In actuality i'm deep in thought all the time connecting dots, analysing and logically thinking and reasoning metaphysical things. I find there's only very few people who I can call proper friends where as the rest only contact me when they need to understand something... in business, career, personal relationships, any issue where they are ready to understand. Although I do love to help people, at times it can make me feel used. I care alot and when I care, I want to understand what one is experiencing or is going through and that is why I ask blunt straight forward questions - to be able to understand! Yet no natter how close of a friend or how ever long and however much I may have thought they knew about me, they always perceive me in those scenarios as insensitive or not compassionate, too blunt and brutal .... they never remember that is the only way I can understand is by facts through direct questioning... I want to understand because I CARE! I rambled a bit -sorry! I was close to recording myself talking about the Scorpio in general.. I dont believe this sign was ever given enough justice..... or it was always described negatively which doesn't paint the full picture. You're awesome!! Thanks for posting it!

There's a big difference between seeing things about other people and judging the things we see about other people. Scorpio does this out of need for protection... a survival skill, but it does not mean that our judgment of anyone is right, or that other people are wrong for being who they are. I find immature (this has nothing to do with age, but more so emotional + spiritual maturity level) Scorpio risings (and suns + moons, as well) to be judgmental about what they see (Scorpio does this out of the fear of the pain of surrendering the ego, which feels like surrendering to harm from another person but is ultimately surrendering to our higher Self), and as a Scorpio Moon myself, it wasn't until I started to see other through the eyes of love without the need to protect myself from possible pain, that I was able to mature and step into true power (still wobbly here + there, but man what a difference). Projection comes from fear. Intimacy comes from love. Intimacy with all of life and all beings. You are extraordinary, sweet pea. Thanks so much for your beautiful honesty + vulnerability

Idk if it's my Scorpio rising, but sometimes I am aggressive to be funny, or scary to be funny, and I think I come across as scary. Idk. That can be a big one, can't it?! For me personally, just learning to let go and let things be as they are and not becoming so fixated and set on one thing. Things in the past have really taken me over sometimes when I get hooked to someone, an idea, or thing. Flexibility can be a virtue for this placement. Being fixed, it can be rough getting us to make movement and get out of own limitations, but once we do we soar like no other. :)

For the past few weeks I've started really digging in to astrology and up until today I was under the impression that I was a Gemini rising (Sun and Mercury in Gemini too!). Turns out I mixed up the am/pm of my birth time... needless to say I was a little confused given I'm quite introverted and I attract painfully awkward social situations like a magnet - not characteristic of Gemini rising from what I could find. I swear a lot of the time I can't even look people in the eyes for too long because I can see (and feel) how uncomfortable they get! Finding this out today hit me like a ton of bricks and basically explained my life.
Luckily I've found a lovely partner in recent years who's helped me with my scorpio projection in ways I probably couldn't have done alone. Anyways it's nice being able to relate with people you haven't met on such a deep level, cheers dude!
I, too, had the info of my birth time wrong for a while before I actually got it correct and came to know of my Scorpio rising. Though the whole time, those were the traits that matched me to a tea. For the longest time I was under the impression of having a Sagittarius ascendant, which wasn't too hard for me to believe because of my Sag moon, which shines through so much because it's in my first house. However, since the rising point is defiantly more of that first impressions persona (among so much more,) I knew Sag didn't fit that part of me. You can detect a Scorpio rising from miles away. We are much like magnets with people. We are who we are, and come with a lot of power. People will either accept that or they won't. It has nothing to do with us as people, as people will judge this part of us without even knowing a single detail of who we are as a person. I'm learning to kind of find amusement out of the ones who squirm around me instead of taking it personally. :)
It really is a sneaky sign isn't it, in that others are more aware of it than you are if you haven't realized it yet. No wonder why it's associated with the unconscious.. Now I can try to get amusement out of awkwardness instead of thinking I'm a weirdo aha :P

Everything you said was spot on- especially about the depth of thinking and complexity and emotions and intensity. I have always felt like i was not 100 aries sun. just found out recently that i am a scorpio rising and it makes so much sense! I always felt a little darker in contrast with a typical aries personality. A little bit more brooding and philosophical and serious. I have also been told all my life that I can let my emotions take control too often. When people first meet me they thought I was intimidating (especially to men) and a lot of women don't like me. It's not until after people get to know me that they realize how I am not always serious and brooding and intense. I just carry myself with confidence wherever i go. I am working on my first impressions though lately i am trying to smile more just to tone it down a bit. I think it's cool some people can be inspired by you and your fierceness and confidence but not everyone vibes with that. I am trying to be more careful in the way i talks and how i look in my face in public lol. I didn't know or realize very much about the birth chart or how its not just all bout your sun sign and there is so much more complexity to ourselves. Thanks for the info! Helped me understand myself a little bit more. :) Now that I know more about my Scorpio ascendant i can learn better how to control it and not scare people away. I'm finding that the older I get my Scorpio side is more prominent. I just recent started to learn about astrology on a level the that's deeper than a sun sign. I feel both signs care and love very deeply, and work hard at anything they set their minds to. But, at the same time Virgo tends to worry a lot and Scorpio can be paranoid. Being more optimistic is something I'm constantly working on.
Now I'm starting to understand why some people can feel intimidated by me even when I don't mean for it to happen. People either like me, love me, or dislike me. There's no in between. Some people have even accused me of staring at them during conversation when really I was just giving them my undivided attention. Trust issues-yep. Sometimes, I tend to expect the worst of people even when it's not warranted. Especially, when it comes to relationships and dating. Some of that could be because for 12 years of my life my father was MIA. In a nutshell, it's just something I need to be aware of and accept. I feel like I have the best and sometimes worst of both signs.

For instance, for me, personal power is all about my own surrender. In many ways and for many people, I'm a little too heady for them to even understand because of my love for metaphysics, writing and having crazy conversations. Hey, I'm actually a Scorpio Ascendant, Aries Sun, Aquarius Moon (Virgo MC). I'm also one of those astrology buffs who has become OBSESSED with knowing about birth charts, what each planet means, etc. I even got my coworkers hooked and it blew their minds lol. I've watched a few Scorpio Ascendant videos but yours has been the best, probably because you are one and actually know what you're talking about. I'm often called "aggressive" because I'm very direct and not afraid to tell the truth. Some people think I'm emotionally detached but I just rather use common sense than get stuck in my feelings (like Pisces for example). But people always come to me with their problems or want my advice. -_- I wanted your advice about the Scorpio/Aries combination. As you mentioned that's feminine aggressiveness and masculine aggressiveness. A lot of people get shocked because I'm not the stereotypical female prototype.

It's powerful, not bad, as a capricorn with scorpio ascendant and lots of virgo making me neurotic about details I'm just going to say PTSD without any irony. We are a violence magnet. Virgo here with Scorpio ascendant.Don't be so hard on yourself,there are worse signs to be born under than Virgo(but I'm too tactful to mention them).Scorpio is the most awesome sign I must say and most of my dearest friends have always been born under that sign.For Virgos,even though we are supposed to be compatible with all 3 water signs, I have noticed that Cancerians can be way too clingy and demanding and Pisceans seem to drift off into a world of their own which can be hard for any earth sign to tolerate. I may be biased as Scorpio is the only water sign in my birth chart. Capricorns tend to be the easiest to get along with out of the earth signs,however I noticed that all 3 earth signs can bring out the stubborn side of me more than the other 9 signs.What has been your experience?

I do really well with both Capricorn and Cancer energy, and love just about every Scorpio I meet. Taurus is another one that I defiantly need in my life. Like Pisces, they help keep me grounded and balanced. I find the Scorpio in my chart really dominates, and I need the foundation of Taurus to keep my Scorpio waters from getting too cray. :D

I went through my life thinking I was sag rising, yet it truly never fit me. I learned I'm a Scorpio in the 26°. Oddly enough my grandmother was a sun Scorp and the malefic side of her qualities frustrate me (seeing them in my persona). These issues I must work through. I wish I had all this knowledge so long ago. So much my younger self might had one differently. Oh well, here forward, I shall apply what I can for self correction. :)
Interesting to note! I, as well, thought I was Sag rising for the longest time until I got my correct birth time. The Sag felt somewhat familiar for the fact that's my Moon, but it just didn't fit for my rising. Discovering it was Scorpio defiantly changed a lot for me. All the pieces started fitting together so easily.

Awesome video! I have Scorpio Sun and ASC with Pisces Moon - I completely agree about how people perceive me. I find that as soon as people realise my need to understand things so deeply or completely with everything, they find it intimidating or threatening to them. Pisces moon softens my presence quite a lot. think my moon shines more where I am percieved as aloof, with my head in the clouds or day dreaming about things. In actuality i'm deep in thought all the time connecting dots, analysing and logically thinking and reasoning metaphysical things. I find there's only very few people who I can call proper friends where as the rest only contact me when they need to understand something... in business, career, personal relationships, any issue where they are ready to understand. Although I do love to help people, at times it can make me feel used. I care alot and when I care, I want to understand what one is experiencing or is going through and that is why I ask blunt straight forward questions - to be able to understand! Yet no natter how close of a friend or how ever long and however much I may have thought they knew about me, they always perceive me in those scenarios as insensitive or not compassionate, too blunt and brutal .... they never remember that is the only way I can understand is by facts through direct questioning... I want to understand because I CARE! I rambled a bit -sorry!

I'm a scorpio ascendant, scorpio sun, cancer moon, leo midheaven. My presence is always known, which is good and bad for me at the same time because I love being known and admired, but I'm insanely critical of myself and insecure. I intimidate everyone unintentionally, like most of the time I'm just trying to make friends and have a good time but my intensity is like an elephant in the room :/

There's a big difference between seeing things about other people and judging the things we see about other people. Scorpio does this out of need for protection... a survival skill, but it does not mean that our judgment of anyone is right, or that other people are wrong for being who they are. I find immature (this has nothing to do with age, but more so emotional + spiritual maturity level) Scorpio risings (and suns + moons, as well) to be judgmental about what they see (Scorpio does this out of the fear of the pain of surrendering the ego, which feels like surrendering to harm from another person but is ultimately surrendering to our higher Self), and as a Scorpio Moon myself, it wasn't until I started to see other through the eyes of love without the need to protect myself from possible pain, that I was able to mature and step into true power (still wobbly here + there, but man what a difference). Projection comes from fear. Intimacy comes from love. Intimacy with all of life and all beings. You are extraordinary, sweet pea. Thanks so much for your beautiful honesty + vulnerability

Idk if it's my Scorpio rising, but sometimes I am aggressive to be funny, or scary to be funny, and I think I come across as scary. Idk. That was awesome, I think it was the best descriptions of this placement! I am a Leo Sun/Scorpio Rising/ Libra Moon and I can really identify with this. I think it's really helpful to be aware of the vibe your giving off. Agree with pretty much everything; especially the trust thing & partnerships. That can be a big one, can't it?! For me personally, just learning to let go and let things be as they are and not becoming so fixated and set on one thing. Things in the past have really taken me over sometimes when I get hooked to someone, an idea, or thing. Flexibility can be a virtue for this placement. Being fixed, it can be rough getting us to make movement and get out of own limitations, but once we do we soar like no other. :)

I gave my power away most of my life (and I am nearly 62) so I am VERY INTERESTED in your answer to this question. Finally transforming into an empowered woman
