Great video as always and nice to meet you on your way down from your wee overnighter. Thank goodness for the wind at the top as it was midgie hell on the way up. 👍
Another cracking video Andrew, like watching all the new tents and views , love the thought of being above the clouds . Still hanging in there with my bargain decathlon quick hiker and starlight 1 , both same weights but depending stealthy or not.
Cracking video as always, the cloud inversion looked amazing. I’m really curious about the Lightwave tents, I’d love to know what you make of the new Sigma 22 if you get your hands on one.
Thank you, Andrew So, have we found it at last? The ultimate 4 season, lightweight, outer-pitch-first shelter? We've talked before. I'm trying to find the ideal tent (around 1kg) that is ideal for both long distance hiking and wild camping high in the hills. Is one of these tents 'the holy grail'?
In many ways Imran it could work for you. I still have the reservation though that when you get continuous rain the inner side will start to dribble condensation when saturated. I guess it depends on the conditions you'll be camping in.
@@trytheoutdoors It's got a lot going for it. Just three wee niggles for me which might prove unfounded. I'd like to see guys on the sides, you probably couldn't cook in the vestibule and I'd quite like to be able to close the mesh on the inner door, but apart from that...
Another great night Andrew with a stunning inversion in the morning too, I did like your mates tent looked solid . atb Dave
Yes the lightrock might be on my shopping list, looks like a good pitch as one alternative to the Hubba Nx
Nice one. I was up on a summit near beinn dearg/Ullapool the same night. Amazing sunset and inversion in the morning wasn’t it. Gordon

Thanks for the quick reply. Are you persuaded by the Lightrock perchance?
