One of the many beautiful parts of Islam is that Alla swt forgives all. My body with the exception of my face and neck are covered in tattoos, I just reverted to Islam 2 days ago 4/29/23 I will never get another tattoo, however the tattoos I do have are a visual representation of my very long journey to Islam and Allah swt
Mashallah. Try to remove them if you can bc it’s not good to have symbols when you pray and we don’t want to encourage the youth to mimic it when they see it. May Allah make it easy for you :)

@@Sal_A because of the extreme pain and scarring that would happen to my skin I will not be getting them removed with that said my tattoos are a visual representation of my journey to Allah swt, and will be used as an example of what NOT to do. I believe hiding the mistakes of your elders only allow for the same mistakes to happen. verbal warning sometimes is not enough I' m ok with being the visual reminder of what not to do.

What ever they did in the past has been forgiven however even the disbelivers it is haram in the legislation of Allah and they are blameworthy for doing it every one, however we call the kuffar to islam because Thier biggest calamity is Thier disbelief not the tattoo.
The difficulty to follow is because people has no idea the reason to follow. Once they know they did it willingly. Like fasting can help u hold ur anger and take out ur anxiety and depression. Hijab help u get closer to Allah. Once u know and feel the happiness doing it. Not reluctantly that's is freedom.🎉

Body art is permissible depending on the method and type of ink used. Temporary surface henna dye is allowed. Injecting permanent ink deep into your skin is not.

I like the approach of the brothers Hashim and Ismael at lot. Everything brother Siraj said was absolutely correct, but it was a bit aggressive and too straight forward. I don't think this is the best way to reach especially these kind of people.

I always wanted tattoos from a young age. It was somewhat influenced by my father having both arms hands and chest with nice looking tattoos. He came to the UK during the 50s at the age of 4years old. His father passed away before he was born. He had a rough time and mixed up with the wrong people. Alhamdulillah he settled down in his mid 20s thanks to his uncle who tracked him.
As soon as I hit 18 I went to see different designs as I knew they would be staying on for a long time. My older brother snitched. My father was mad at me big time, as he has deeply expressed how he regrets tattoos and said it's a massive mistake anyone can make when they are young and you can't reverse time later in life. I'm glad my father was firm with me at the time and I didn't get them as I would have got an ass whopping every time I had taken my top off at training 😁. I'm 42 this year alhamdulillah, and it's only been the last 5years where I can really see how I would actually regret having them. May Allah SWT grant my father Jannah.

It’s just the problem is non Muslims taking it out of context. My kids are absolutely obedient to me bcuz Islam teaches us to be obedient to parents and to especially the mother. Will you now argue why my kids can’t be equal with me? And make decisions of when to sleep and where to go? In the house I rule and I do what I want and have to be provided for. I leave the leadership to my husband freely and as obedience to Allah alone. I never have to work outside and anything I need my husband HAS to provide for me. (I thank Allah all the time that I’m not a man 😂)
Even though I’m a grown woman with teenagers I still am obedient to my parents. My husband is obedient to his parents. In this way we Muslims have maintained harmony in our homes. The few exceptions of ppl going outside of Islam you see aren’t the rule. As a Muslim woman if I’m mistreated can get a divorce and islamically he may have to even provide for me for a year. Poor Christian women aren’t even allowed to divorce or they will be known as adulteresses. You should fight for them! Or the Hindus who believe women are a lower species and a burden. Allah has given us rules to follow to live a good healthy compatible life. Whether male or female we can earn paradise.

Marriage has its ups and downs but it’s always been seeking the pleasure of Allah that got us through.
