As a huge Pokemon fan (I get into competitive battling and the theorycrafting and was even a thing that helped me learn how to read as a small child), this was probably one of my favorite videos, and you were both too hard on yourselves!! Even channels dedicated to Pokemon can't get them entirely right, and it was super cute to see. :) (And if you guys ever did it again I would super love it! Or maybe did something Animal Crossing again, like maybe designing each other as animal villagers or what your dream animal would look like.)

I am a huge pokemaniac and play lots and such, and Can't draw 90% from memory. I recommend reference! Each human has different capabilities with memory. Often our minds simplify and warp things. The ability to accurately recall varies. I don't like this kind of challenge most often because it tends to make people feel bad and stupid when it's just Human limitations. I think this kind of challenge is not as good honestly. Instead I recommend (for a pokemon art challenge) 1) invent your own new pokemon (Fakemon) 2) draw pokemon using reference but in your own styles 3) draw pokemon by rolling random numbers (1-807) and draw the pokemon of that National dex number (all generations) Maybe making a scale size scene with three random pokemon you roll. (look up their sizes and good reference) Keep up the great videos, thanks!
This was fun, and slightly suspenseful as I have no idea what Pokémon look like. It might also be fun to watch a video where one of you describes a cartoon character or animal to the other to draw. To see how close the illustrator can get without knowing what the subject is.

Alakazam is one of my favorite pokémons and I was DYING laughing the whole time Steph was drawing him lmao The other day I was telling my sister that I am trying to capture an Abra on FireRed, and she was like "I don't remember that pokémon, what's it like " and I was like, "uh... it's a... yellow... creature?" Hahaha

Y’all have made me realize that I need to touch up on all my Pokémon knowledge lol!! I used to know every Pokémon my heart, it’s type, all of its evolutions, and what they all looked like.....but I have become quite rusty lol, I wanna buy a big complete Pokédex with every Pokémon ever in the order that they’ve come out, and then I just wanna study that son of a gun like crazy lol!!
You guys are so nice and supportive of each other that I think this challenged would've been more fun for you and cute for us to watch if it were like, helping each other by describing what the pokemon looks like?? So drawing pokemon from descriptions instead of memory y'know?? ps: this video was fun to watch though!!
