Have you ever beaten this game without upgrades? I'm stuck on the very last section with the 3 MERVs in the Planktopolis level and just wondering if you know how to get past it.

There are walkthroughs that can help you.
This video ruclips.net/video/gEgYH3krNMk/видео.html at 1:00:05 helps. You damage boost using the sinking platform and land on or below the Merv platform, if you die you'll get a checkpoint.
There's also a way to despawn the Mervs, because doing the stage normally relies heavily on missile RNG.

How are y'all installing the mods onto the game, on pc?

Yep. The mods are played on Dolphin emulator. You can extract the entire disc, mod level files, and then convert the file into new ISO to play mods. You can also play them directly from the game's files.

You should make a Kaizo spongebob squarepants movie game like they made a kaizo Mario 64. But really really difficult.

SpongeBob isn't very fast so kaizo would be harder to make

Not to mention, what about these two games can really be made into Kaizo mechanics? The only thing I can really think of is cruise boosting, and that’s fixed in the Movie game.
