I grew up in Surulere and Igbo worship was an everyday lifestyle. Even if you don’t own the record, you will know part of the lyrics. This song was one of the many Igbo songs that I loved. I had to get someone to tell me who it was that sang it and I’m happy I found her. It’s no surprise an old gospel song without an elaborate video has over 1 million hits. My brother had an accident exactly a week ago, broke his hip bone, hand and leg, fell into a coma and he is currently fighting for his life. I grew up in Surulere and Igbo worship was an everyday lifestyle. Even if you don’t own the record, you will know part of the lyrics. This song was one of the many Igbo songs that I loved. I had to get someone to tell me who it was that sang it and I’m happy I found her. It’s no surprise an old gospel song without an elaborate video has over 1 million hits. Speaks volumes about how blessed she is.
