love seeing dual quads on the polyhead 318 ! I had 1 in a 440 coronet with a 2bbl, and just missed a factory dual quad 361 intake that went out the door of my buddys shop,just before I showed up to show him my new car! lol! ahhhh! thanks. ☆☆☆
Just bought a 64 440. 318 push button. Hoping to bore it to 4.040 and drop some 340 pistons in it with a new balanced rotating assembly. I'm thinking I should just go all out with a 408 displacement. Port and polish heads and I saw someone who just dropped in LS valves with minimal work for massive improvement. Hydraulic roller so I don't have to mess with it. Not sure on cam, but with that bore and stroke I will probably be looking to use the cam to tame the engine and keep it streetable. Same as with the rollers I don't want to mess with a carb so I will be looking at self learning efi kits from holley.
It's ALIVE!... And the river is gone (I saw the video of your road as a small river). That is a neat idea though... I never thought of mounting a camera to watch what is moving around under the hood. That could have saved me time/money when things ended up rubbing aftering building/installing the motor in the van .. I see your dipstick tube may need to be moved/protected.. It looks like it is hitting the bracket..

Cool. Some tuning yet. Sounds like accelerator pumps are weak.

Beautiful! What kind of intake is that? I also have a 318A/ Poly on my 66 Coronet 500. I am think of getting TTI headers.
Sounds good!

Hope he anchored down that dipstick tube before it sheared off.

@DaveCaresForYou This one is 425hp and 460ft/lbs.
@DaveCaresForYou Compression is a bit too high at 10.5:1.
@DaveCaresForYou All poly's had forged cranks and high nickel blocks with thick cyl walls. They were long lasting tough as nail motors.
