I will give MCF credit. they actually do want to help. The SCPs that are given a Tag and identifier are only the Items used by the MCF that went horribly wrong. The MCF has quite a few anomalies that are harmless and work quite well, but the foundation doesn't pay attention to those because those good items don't hurt the foundation's goals. here's a possible example of this. It could be something like an Anomalous version of Wheat. it's normal wheat in all ways except one, it has 10 times the caloric input. that's all it does. The foundation doesn't really care because it has no harm, it's not overtly anomalous.
Yeah the MCF are good lads, even if they mess up sometimes. The "no matter the cost" thing isn't too big a thing with them, after all they are just a charity, not a terrorist organisation. They crop up occasionally, especially in end of the world scenarios where they're left trying to pick up the pieces after the foundation or whatever fucks the world
A group that would probably happily donate to the organization is the Church of the Second Hytoth, as a lot of their religious ethos revolves around helping all sapient entities-be they human or not. Yes this is me secretly requesting that you check them out again.
M,C&D have been known to help the MCF get their hands on scps but are also the ones that prevent MCF from getting and using scps more then the GOC or Foundation.
I also wondered about a connection to MC&D. Not necessarily a sinister one, mind you. Like maybe they donate to the Manna Charitable Foundation in an attempt to offset the bad karma from their business practices.
@@cpaul562 the Sarkics are literally cultists of the flesh and Want to turn everything into mindless piles of savage flesh beasts. See SCP-610 The Circus of the Disquieting ,if I recall, routinely fucked over it's employees and effectively tortured some of them into being unwilling Circus acts. A Charity foundation that's a little Naive and occasionally fucks up? I'd be happy to have that any day.
There are several Groups of Interest that I wish were used more often and brought up more. This is definitely one of them. Even if they are a bit naive and do tend to mess up from time to time it is nice to have a group that only wants to help people. Some other underrated GOI I suggest checking out are the UIU and second moon initiative.
SCP 1176 is an example of a somewhat common (mythological) thing. But it should never have been made from that particular person. Have to use science to get the correct blood type before you do your magic ritual 🤣

The issue is the UN. It means GOC and MCF are taking funds from the same party
??? The MCF is funded by private investors, it just complies with UN regulations, it's not funded by it

So they have good intentions but they are a little naive.
honestly though. it's better than groups like the Sarkics. Or The Circus
@@Meanslicer43 that’s not saying much

Maybe MC&D donate to the MCFs front organizations for tax breaks.
