I constantly got made fun of for liking it. Disclaimer, I was never bullied for being me, just for liking that anime/manga. Now, kids today are consumed by it, it's wild.

I’ve been watching anime since I was 9, I’m 23 now. I gotta say times have changed. Now half the people I talk to watch it or are interested. I even got people who hate animation in general (Cartoons, anime etc…) to watch some. I’m so glad that it’s not something to be nervous about anymore and we have a whole culture and group of people to express ourselves with.
