  • Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman and Michael Sanilevich discuss light, darkness, and the Hebrew Aleph Bet in the 10th episode of The Study of the Ten Sefirot.
Which are the two types of lights in spirituality? How can we come to sense the light of Hassadim and the light of Hochma? What intention do we need in order to start feeling the spiritual lIghts? Can we receive directly from the Creator? How can there be a connection between the Creator and the created being when they are two opposites? Why do we behave in a negative and harmful manner in this world? What is light? Why are we inevitably harmful in the global and integral system we exist in? What are the four phases of direct light? What is the Creator’s four-letter name? What does each letter represent in HaVaYaH (Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey, the name of the Creator)? What do the Hebrew letters mean and represent? How can we read the Hebrew letters and their combinations properly?

I literally shifted into a totally different level of perception from absorbing the light within this video. Much appreciated. This video actually helped fill in some gaps of understanding on some of the more technical abstractions of kabbalah as well. Really feel a sense of grounding occurring in so many ways

Does each desire we possess have its own cup that has to be filled with corrected desire? For example, if I enjoy ice cream. Is that an individual cup in me to which every time I think of my enjoyment or actually engage in eating ice cream as I enjoy it, I am connecting with the thought that I am doing this for the purpose of fulfilling and bestowing upon the creator.? Is this the process that eventually corrects that desire in me?
