10/10 for your review. I had a tamiya version rc, over last 20 years ,rc tank has vastly improved. I would spent my next 1000$ on taigen metal tanks for the sound and recoil system that Tamiya will never match. The tamiya controller can be used on taigen, but for the time we spent to work out the pins and plugs, I would just buy anther one that is more robust and cheaper to maintain.
Ordering this same one next week for future reference when removing the top half always rotate on the right side to avoid disconnecting your plugs. Happy hunting
Houston ? sweet. Just purchased the Sherman M4A3 76mm Metal Edition (Pre-Order)....Would like to know how I would benefit with an upgraded transmitter...such as a Futaba unit.
Hi There. Lover the 76mm Sherman. The stock radio unit is OK. But if you wish to add more ancillary items then you could consider it. Would take some modification to add a different radio and receiver, but it can be done. Thanks. Andrew. Third Coast RC

I've never liked Taigens description of they're tanks. "Full metal" and the entire upper hull (minus the turret) is plastic.
