I actually met the Rev Fr Patrick Peyton, sewn for him while visited the Philippines. I wa then only in my tens and stayed with the Good Shepherd Sisters at Banawa Hills Cebu City. As a token of Gratitud, for sewing, he gave me his rosary...even though I've lost the rosary he gave me, ive never stop praying the rosary. I'm now 75 years old and is now living in Australia. My greatest wish and joy is that the Venerable Fr Patrick Peyton will be a Saint.

I was born in Is Scranton Pennsylvania . What a place The whole town was filled with immigrants from all over the world You had your work and then you had your religion .
I went to a Dominican convent School. I was not a Catholic then. If somebody did something wrong it could often accompanied by "and she is a,Catholic" proved that we considered Catholics on a higher virtue place. Today I am a Catholic and the same phrase could follow us.
I'm pausing this to point something out : the celebrities that prayed with Father Peyton - for the most part, these are the celebrities that later on these dirty stories came out about. I'm not saying that every single one of them were saints - what I am saying is that it has just hit me that this was a trial by fire, b/c they openly identified as Catholic !!!
