Hi may i know if eurailpass or flixbus is better for intercity travels!!? Like cologone to amsterdam and from Amsterdam to Belgium etc
I dont have much idea about the Eurailpass but I have travelled to Amsterdam from both Köln and Brussels. Both times I used Flixbus and the travel time was around 3 hrs to 4 hrs. Köln to Amsterdam was a bit cheaper than my trip from Brussels to Amsterdam. Travel ticket cost in Flixbus from Köln was around 10 Euros and from Brussels it was around 25 Euros. Also there were multiple bus timings to choose from in both these routes.
Travelling 3-4 hrs in Flixbus is not so uncomfortable. Its a good and comparatively cheap option.
@@CuriousTraveller2022 thankyou so much for this much detail. My only fear is i shouldn’t miss the bus as the busstops should be familiar or reachable.
Yeah I understand. We took our bus to Amsterdam from the Köln-Bonn Airport. The flixbus terminal over there is very easy to navigate. But for our Brussels to Amsterdam trip, we did a google search of the Brussels flixbus stop a day before our journey. Just to make ourself familiar with the route to take in the morning.
