Painting everything that was brown to white brightens up the room. You can not even tell that the items were painted. It gives your home a modern look and makes it look like it is a brand new home. I am really enjoying your channel

Thank you! My contractor was telling me that the carpenters couldn't believe I wanted to paint all the woodwork white.. the Judy about fell over!😂 but we love all the detail and how it all came out!
We just painted this past week with Repose Grey too! I LOVE IT! Just enough grey...not too light or too dark! I luv the round all glass table. I think I’ve decided to keep ours...I’ll know for sure after I finish re-upholstering. You already know I love your 💙 chairs! So much storage...and the pull out trash can is always a win. :) Very nice update Christine!

Your home is absolutely beautiful. Love the way you painted all the dark wood, white. The granite on the cabinet in the living room (in my humble opinion) gives it just the right amount of contrast. I wouldn't change a thing that you've done and I would keep the coffee center right where it is because I think the small space it's in it acts like a focal point; looks welcoming to me. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks for sharing.

It’s absolutely crazy how white paint can change a space and add so much light, and also the brown granite on the shelving unit looks great with everything else
Thank you so much! My husband keeps pushing me to go into interior design.. so it has piqued my interest.. but I wouldn't even know where to begin😆 and yes.. white can change everything! A lot of the trades were hired thought we were crazy to paint the woodwork since its all custom cabinetry.. but we love how it all turned out!

Looks gorgeous, the tv cabinet looks fabulous, I would leave the brown on the counter as it anchors it, so much nicer than the dark wood

What I can’t believe is how fast you did everything. And such beautiful stuff. We moved from Colorado and were set to build in one location and changed to a different one. The storage would’ve been fantastic in the first one, but we do really love the one we went with more because it’s.more open. Our Colorado home (Castle Rock) had sooo much storage and also on both sides of the island. But snow. Hate snow. In AZ now. Love your color scheme. Was going to go grey for all the cabinets in the island and bathrooms, but changed to a different color. White kitchen cabinets. Gray walls though. And a lot of gray in the flooring. Enjoying your beautiful progress! Thx for sharing. So much work! Brilliant on that cabinet hardware. They would’ve cost you a mint new. Cheers! Oh I love your coffee station where it is. But putting it nearer to the sink also makes sense. Sheesh I’m no help. Lol!
We lived in Parker and I'm 50/50 with the snow.. love it.. but hate driving in it! It gave me so much anxiety! I bet your AZ home is just gorgeous!
Are you kidding me? We actually were on the Parker side of Castle Rock. Do you know where the Richmond Cobblestone community is? It’s right off Parker just before Franktown. You talk about a small world!
I think I remember whe that's at.. it's down Parker rd? I have a friend that lived in Franktown! We lived far east Parker.. where it meets Aurora in a community called Inspiration :)
Shoot! We almost bought there! Beautiful homes there! So expensive. Ours was expensive. Everything’s expensive as far as housing in CO. But a lovely state indeed. We lived in “The Farm” in Aurora prior to moving to Cobblestone. (Buckley/Arapahoe or Buckley/Orchard).
@@janniestanley yes.. CO is almost as bad as CA! We were in Highlands Ranch and I really wanted to stay in the foothills.. but we ended up LOVING our neighborhood!!!

Hi Christine love the way the furniture pieces you painted came out. Can you please the process of painting the furniture such as do you sand, prime and then paint with a special paint or regular paint? Love your style.

Lady you have done a fantastic job, I saw what the home looked like when you moved, I always say it is a lot of work, but the outcome makes all the sweat and labor well worth it, love the fruits of your LABOR which I know you will. Here in my city we can’t use oil base paint it is against the fire codes, due to fires, the walls cause a rapid fire. I am definitely a Sherwin Williams lady just got some paint for my paint project coming up soon. Love everything.💞💞💞💞

That's a great call on oil based.. I've never used it.. but our contractor hired all the trades and that's what they use. I pray a fire never happens!

Do you have window treatments on your dining room windows? Just wondering how you maintain privacy on those windows.
We dont have window treatments in our dining room.. I actually love the natural light in that room! Believe it or not, in CO.. we always saw tons of homes without curtains because the views are so amazing.. and I think I adopted that liking! I dont thing we will add any curtains... we have a fence and no one is behind us!

Mindful gray in SW is beautiful! It is a bit darker than what I have in Repose Grey, but still a very pretty color! I would buy a sample of the paint and test it on several rooms in your home (get areas that get sunlight, corner wall sections, and top and bottom wall areas) before deciding for sure!
