A lot of destiny has been “post apocalypse” environments and this feels like the first time we’re getting a fresh, clean, swept environment.
I won’t, not raid, but I won’t day 1 raid.
I don’t do all the bounty and engram prepping so I’m not bummed out about all that but a lot of what motivated me to even go into lost sectors was the new exotic armors.

Who is Pantheon for? I thought maybe it was going to be for getting new people into the raid. Its definitely not for anyone inexperience at raiding. God help LFG ;)
My raid team went in and we only made it to the second encounter before we had to stop for the night and i have every reward it gave me. I raid a lot and it didnt feel like its for me or my raid (semi casual ) team.
Hard pass on Pantheon for me!
I like the Rahool thing about getting new exotics. Running lost sectors are way too annoying as a casual player. I like that I can passively work towards new exotics while playing anything else rather than going ultra focus on a single boring activity. But that's my take. Maybe we should have both for those that like the lost sector grind.
Yeah I agree. Just waiting for the correct armor drop on certain days then running that same lost sector over and over again got so stale. And I like the gameplay of Vex strike force but just sitting in orbit staring at the map waiting for it to spawn wasn’t fun either.
My question is, do we have to reset Rahool each Episode like most tower vendors to access the new exotics or will we be able to focus the new stuff on day 1 of future episodes? If we have to reset each time, then you’ll always have to hoard engrams and ciphers.
@@ThePorkShireyeah, I suspect they will have us reset, but I hope it's a one time thing.
@@Atypical_TypoIf it resets, then having the best of both worlds where the armor can also randomly drop from lost sectors or quite honestly, just randomly from completing any activities in the game like D1.
The biggest thing is that was taken away was reward screens. Being able to get exotics/rare loot after crucible matches was top tier. I hate how you get an exotic engram on the ground and you still have to go to the tower to decrypt it. I liked running over and seeing what I get. But also this far in the game, everyone has almost all the exotics so they don’t feel special
Briar is talking about leave the world behind. It was pretty good. There’s a scene where an oil tanker comes ashore.
1:28:00 but that isnt true. They havent taken anything away at all. They've given players an ADDITIONAL option. If you dont want to craft, and you still want to farm the rolls yourself, you can STILL do that. Its your CHOICE now. Adding Crafting didnt REMOVE farming rolls. It just gave players that WANT it another option. When McDonalds added the quarter pounder, people didnt stop buying Big Macs.
and the fact that they're adding enhanced perks to the weapons you FARM from Onslaught even further enforces my point.

Speaking of pantheon… I did my first run just yesterday(Friday), and it took us 2hr just to get to the final boss. After 4-5 wipes, we just called it a day. I definitely don’t see myself doing it the rest of the weeks as they get harder. Which sucks but I guess the activity is just for me and NO WAY AM I GONNA LFG this activity.
So let me get this straight, you guys would rather farm a lost sector over and over for the new exotic instead of having a deterministic route to getting the one you want? You guys don't even really play the game that much anymore, you guys have mentioned many times you'd rather play destiny the way YOU want and not be compelled to play the game in ways that are not fun. This is a rather large contradiction no? The new way would allow you to maximize the way you want to play with the few hours you have to engage with it. Seems like the new system is actually a big W.
I can't relate. 1:27:31 - I get getting drops at random, but running solo list sectors ad nauseum based on a schedule out of your control was such BS. This is a way better system.
This is just such a bad take/reaction to a good change from lapsed players and if blows my mind. Let my play the content I want to! If I don't want to play a raid 100 times to potentially not get a thing. I don't want to min max lost sectors, they're old and boring.
These changes just mean you get to play what you like and still progress your character without grinding content you're not about

Why do people hate Peeps so much? I genuinely dont understand it. They're .. literally just Marshmallows. Thats it. Simple Marshmallows. People LOVE Marshmallows, but hate Peeps????
