- During my travel recently, I came across a retro arcade with games from the 90s and I knew I must document it down since its so difficult to find such arcades outside of Japan. Even so, I'm sure most Japanese arcades do not have such old games in store.
From Time Crisis, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Striker, Daytona USA, Radmobile, Virtua Cop, House of the Dead, Outrun and many more, you can see all of them in this video.
If only the operator put some effort and time in maintenance and bring all these machines back to the state in its glorious days...

This is amazing. It's like a time capsule from the 1990s. You can't even find these games anymore in other countries.
Where is everyone ? A magnificent place like this has to be at maximum capacity! Look at these beauties! I miss it so much here in São Paulo😢
Can you tell us what city you are there?
This place is in Malaysia Malacca
Man this was an amazing place! Everything has its original CRT! No flat screen ridiculous downgrades!
I own an original Z-Back Hyper Street Fighter 2 arcade along with some additional game boards. I got it for the amazing price of $250.00! 😊
I'm so glad an arcade like this exists. Most "retro" arcades, or even most retro arcade game archiving efforts only focus on the games from the 80s, and so as more games from the 90s/00s age they're becoming forgotten and defunct. There was a second golden age of arcades in the 3D age so I wish more arcades focused on them.
Speaking of old games - any Derby Owners Club or even horse racing games in this arcade? Desperate to find one, particularly in the UK.
Unfortunately Derby Owners Club wasn't popular in this region even in the 90s, but today it can still be found in some arcades in Japan. They have a couple of Derby kiddy rides in this arcade - you can see in the back at 1:52
Greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩
In here, especially at My Hometown Yogyakarta City, there are still some Arcade Game 90s and 2000s. Until now 2022 👏
Hi Alexander... Cool... What's the address of the arcade? I may visit it when I travel there next time!
@@marblens Check out my link this Video, Play Time Crisis 2 (just only around 3 Minutes 😅) ruclips.net/video/0AsaDD5wfmA/видео.html
You can check my Playlist Arcade Games
I hope you Enjoy Travelling in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta City 👏👏👏
Where is it? I also grew up on Yogyakarta, so I definitely don't wanna' miss out next time I visit Yogya
@@rain4est133 The Location in Malioboro Mall but, the Old Fun World Arcade Location doesn't seem to exist Anymore, so stay with the New Fun World Arcade Location (Down 1 or 2 Floors)
Sorry I just replied to the Comment Now 😅🙏
@@marblens One of the Location in Malioboro Mall but, the Old Fun World Arcade Location doesn't seem to exist Anymore, so stay with the New Fun World Arcade Location (Down 1 or 2 Floors). But don't worry, you can play Oldschool Arcade 90s 2000s at Timezone in Lippo Plaza Mall and Amazone in Jogja City Mall
You can tell this place invested heavily in Daytona USA when it was at its peak
Exactly. But they need a good overhaul to many of their mechanical switches (gearboxes)
What an awesome arcade, so many top games!! Funny you mentioned Sonic when looking at Rad Mobile, this was Sonic's first appearance in a video game, ever!
That was the most eye-catching (or you could say distracting) item in the gameplay swinging left to right like a pendulum... haha...
1:47 Nice to see the Rad Mobile arcade machine which I once saw at Schloss Dankern when I was there with my school on a trip there back in May of 2006. As I had already played the game on MAME prior and knowing everything about it, I got to play the game in front of my schoolmates in an attempt to 1CC it in front of them, albeit I had to use the shortcuts because of the limited time we had. I did and it remains the one and only game which I played the original machine of, even if I did once in my life, and 1CC'ed it too given my severe familiarity with it when having played it on MAME prior.
wow wild to see Sonic Blast Man in the arcade! I had heard most of those got recalled people wound up injuring themselves from punching too hard on the pads especially if they were worn down/torn/damaged you know how it is in arcades. but definitely a ton of shooting and racing games I loved in the early 2000s like Initial D, Daytona, and GHOST Squad!
That is a huge Sukuza 8 hours arcade machine. I've never seen such a huge bike game before.
It's pretty common here (in the past but not now)
Awesome video, loved every second of it. I wish we had arcades like this in Australia, and as for Japan, these games are getting harder to find because of arcades closing down or getting replaced with claw machines
The number of Daytonas the guy have is incredible, I have never seen so many, the maximum where I live was 4 linked games, excellent video
Thanks! Indeed... but the maximum number of linked cabinets is only 8
@@marblensis that 8 twin cabinets for 16 players or 8 individual screens for 8 players?
3:45 SEGA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!! MY FAVOURITE ARCADE GAME!!!!!!!! 😃😃
This is one of the best arcades this beats Dave and Buster's to a pulp
Although I kind of wish it had Daytona USA 2 and scud race
Daytona 2 and Scud racing are like the next gen of arcade games with nicer cabs compared to the ones in this video
This is indeed a very rare find! Virtual cop 2 was my favourite.
Wow its a nostalgic because I play all games since old school 2000s in sabar subur citra raya
Seems to have all the best games.
Yes indeed most of these are some of the best during its prime era.
Which is your most favourite retro arcade game?
Is this in Malaysia or Indonesia, in indonesia i know this classic ish arcade which contain some 90s - 00s machine. Its pretty cool
This is in Malaysia
Great video where is this?
Thanks. It's at Malaysia.
now i want to go to Malaysia 😅
Damn this seriously competes for the best arcade centre in the world for sure 😬😮
Its cool to visually admire these retro machines but I must say most of their machines are in pretty poor condition with malfunctioned buttons and gear sticks (for Daytonas)
ask to buy them
Haha... I think I need to crowdfund to purchase these machines even though they are more than 20 years old
where is this at?
This is in Malaysia, Malacca
where is it located at ?
It's located in Malaysia. Apparently I think Indonesia has some of such arcades after searching on the internet. One won't be lucky to find these in highly developed cities.
