  • Transitions are governed by certain selection rules. In accordance with the interaction there are Fermi selection rule and Gamow Teller selection rule. According to Fermi selection rule those transitions are allowed for which change in nuclear spin is strictly zero. G-T selection rule provides change in nuclear spin equal to +1,0,-1.

Nearly 34:00 there is 3 neutron are unpaired so I= 3/2
It can be same in hydrogen or above example, there is 2 neutron so I= 1 ???

Sometimes antineutrino spin is taken 1/2 and sometimes -1/2. How to know which one we have to take in a decay process?
