I like the way you did the economies of scale. I split the size into groups of 100 to discount, which would probably make more sense if you were building a traditional model, but your way with a bigger sequence but simpler logic is great for a DA calculation.
30:24 Nice approach! And weird that the find / replace went so slow - I had the same experience doing a simple find / replace on that sheet… Now that I’ve seen your idea, I guess you could have done the replace in the formula, i.e. CONCAT()
33:27 You had the right idea here, but your array orientation was off - the ; dellimiter meant your array constant was down a column, and so was your sequence, so it wasn’t broadcasting to give you all the combinations. If you used , in your array constant (or had a row with sequence) it would have worked.
48:36 I think the extra work required for this one is probably quite a bit more for the LET approach… my guess is most people had a column somewhere in their workings with statue size already.
I hope you have a relaxing break coming up!

      Thanks for your comment Dim,
I was sure some math geek would come up with a more ingenious solution to the economies of scale :D
And thanks for the tip with the array - I need to memorize those array delimiters...since they are different in my regional and international settings, I am not infrequently confused by them.
For the LET approach, I think a modeling approach with multiple cells or even a separate sheet would have made me faster.... but I know the SCA can sometimes be useful (and nicer - especially if you take useful tips regarding structure from some great lectures... btw, an addition to your LET talk at the Active Cell could have been LAMBDA inside LET [I learned it a few months ago due to a challenge and have been using it quite a bit since]).
Last but not least, I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a wonderful start to a prosperous 2025. 🎉
