. M a graduate from QAMC Bahawalpur. All those years we kept crying that things were brutal there. But ....since my daughter is in KE i m learning that KE is a notch above ! Just imagine "attendence cutt gayi" ...matlab u attended the whole lab / lecture / tutorial ....and at the end the teacher gets flared up on someone stupid n shouts at all of you " tum sb ki aaj ki attendence kaat di main ne ! " ... Only 3000 students make it to govt colleges in Punjab, n the top 300 fall in KE. I tell you the difference is razor thin amongst these 3000. Overall KE has a legacy factor which one can boast of .....otherwise not much difference ! .
Not Dow. Govt Medical Institutes mein KEMU hi Top pr hai. Check New PMDC ranking. Aside from Aga Khan. Sindh mein koyi Top Medical University/College nahi hai.
That's why king Edward isn't world ranked University. It just considers prestige in Pakistan not on the international level. Agha khan medical University still has better international repute than K.E but still US News ranked it at 701 and king Edwards even fails to grab a spot in Top 1000 Universities across globe.
