As someone who has watched nwpo since his very first showmatch I have to take a moment to appreciate how much he has improved. When he started he was literally just flexing his mechanics but the more he played the better he was and now, in my opinion, he's very close to top 10 1s players in the world if he's not already. Just incredible improvement Also have to say, what a series this was... Shame it didn't go to game 5 (but I'm happy zen won)
I think pretty much everyone has Nwpo high up on their top 10 1s players list right now, in fact many have him around #5 just behind the standout top 4 of (in no order) Rw9, Zen, Mawkzy and Daniel. He's definitely above the likes of Yan, Trk, FK etc. as things stand.

That game #1 was probably the best 1v1 game I've ever witnessed. I mean, it was mentioned "two top class attackers" or something along those lines...and yes I do understand these guys are better at attacking and less better at defense...so there were a ton of goals. But I love the pure no hesitation...the pure offensiveness... basically without any mistakes. Until overtime basically. Overtime is where they got slightly hesitant. Excellent game. Excellent content. Stuff like this makes me want to switch back to the Octane body style for once in the past 6 years. ("Tell me you're not good at RL without telling me you're not good at RL")...I know that's what you all are thinking. But damn... I'm thinking this gameplay would honestly get Kuxir to switch to the Fennec and resume RL again. I'd wager...if he did...you see him again in these show matches.

It is crazy to me watching chat and seeing Zens plat fans calling NWPO trash and watching NWPO's plat fans thinking Zen hitting an open net is lucky. These are some of the best players in the world clashing while plats are trash talking each other.

Johnny was tripping up over his words because of exactly what I said. He first called it a pogo shot, and then he corrected himself saying it was a pogo into an air dribble into the shot (even though there was no air dribble, it was just aerialing to the ball to make the shot). I love Johnny but it kind of maddens me when he won't use terms like psycho, squishy save, etc because he claims it's not as understandable, but then he goes and calls two distinct shots by (almost) the same name.

If you watched the whole series there were also a lot of people that joined late complaining that the overlay had 1-0 to KSA because there was a big delay due to the patch update. Once NWPO ups the ante on his defense he'll make a huge improvement on what already is a wonderful defense. Zens abilities and mechanics seem a bit much for NWPOs current state of defense, perhaps the only pro who has NWPOs number. NWPO has best in the world capability.
I think u should add an anti spoiler screen at the end of such a big video, especially in this one, cuz only by the time we can tell who won the 4th match which is annoying, other than that, great content
I don't think anyones realising, not even me, what we're actually living in the Rocket League competitive world, i've been watching rl for about a year and i don't think i've saw players improve that quickly, even if that surely happened before i started watching rl competitions. And i think we are getting close (maybe not there yet) to peak rocket league movements out of players, for me the next step for rl teams will be constant and ultra accurate created and trained passing plays, where the creativity of players will shine throughout setting up the 2nd/3rd man even better.

It's already there, but defense got faster as well and can keep constant pressure so that the opponent can't setup those quick passing plays.
