3. There's a few reasons out there grammar should be used in text, like the use of punctuation for one.

Ohhhh I see. I thought you meant that the Ellen show made it up. I could see this being on purpose too then, (i doubt the ellen show would need to make it up because there are so many funny ones). The auto correct chooses the 'closest' word by spelling, it doesn't care about the keyboard placement. So if you type 'cocacoola' it might write 'columbia'... It's not the most effective spelling....
