This is how I've played all my builds this season, no flame shield. Grats to you for finally stepping away and playing for real! Also, if we get updated uniques with tempering affix, I think that CL one paired with cameo could be nuts!

I just went back and re-watched this because I want to transition my blizzard character into this. I haven't tried frozen orb yet. Anyway, I noticed that you're only source of burning is flame shield. Has that been enough or should I try to squeeze some points into hydra to get them burning?
If you could get the points in the Hydro, I would definitely do it more burning the better!
Could also just use the enchant that does burning
may i know how do you sustain your mana? i dont know what wrong with my build because im always out of mana after 3-4 times use frozen orb
Mana per second on the chest and ring of the starless skies !
So which is more important for the frozen orb sorc, critical damage or vulnerable?
I like to be pretty even in both
What site do you guys use for the skill tree and paragon placement? I was clearing pit tier 79 in 3 minutes or so not including boss fight. But switched fire bolt enchantment with frost nova enchantment. And put a couple points to have summoned hydra, so my hydra are applying the fire instead of fire bolt enchantment, and switched my key passive to shatter. With rhose relatively small changes I'm clearing tier 90 in less than 4 minutes and that does include the boss fight..... I wonder what else I'm not doing that that would make me clear even high tiers

It’s a good build for sure! It’s changing quite a bit in season 5 but I think it works well!

Why do you use the "vulnerable " gems i think they sre in your weapons? Wouldnt Critical Hit be better ive always ran those .but ive seen people with tbe ones ypu have?just wondering
I’ve gone back and forth but I think it’s better to have close to an equal mount of Crit dmg and vul dmg!

How will this play on HC ?
If I was on HC I would try to get even more hp sacrifice some damage nodes.
Also need to take into account the ice armor nerf
