- New Zealand immigration announced 6 points skilled migrant residency visa which will be effective from 9th October 2023. This residency allows to claim points for one of the following.
1. Occupational registration
2. Qualifications
3. Salary
Apart from that points can be claimed for NZ skilled work experience.

If there any nurses want to come here, if you can go through IELTS then it is easy to get the registration. After that getting a residency is very straightforward. I tried to help Sri Lankan nurses but they were lazy and asked me for shortcuts lol

Will the 6 point’s increase? I mean will they ask more than 6 points in the future?
Looking at the changes that the INZ has done within past 6 years which I have lived here, anything can happen. INZ have taken unpredictable changes to residency schemes. One of them was one off residency which they offered for more than 160000 people right away. INZ policies are so unpredictable. Can increase, can decrease or can abolish this and bring a brand new scheme. No one predicted this 6 point system until 180 point system was replaced with it.
