Toei should have made a 1 hour special with episode 1071 and 1072 like dragon ball super 109 and 110.
The reason dragon ball super episode 109 and 110 were breaking was there was constant battle and pressure all the time.
And the reason 1071 felt a little underwhelming is because of the middle part of the episode.
Everyone was hyped for luffy and kaido moments but the hiyori and orochi part pissed many people including me.
But do not be mistaken, i really enjoyed episode 1071.
I hope 1072 will be far better.

Same that part is the most irritating part I would have maybe be fine with it if they had followed the manga but they were stupid enough to actually interupt the gear 5 awakening with the 5 elders convo and the flow of it with hoyori and orochi scene. But really love how ridiculous gear 5 is, it's kinda creepy and funny how much it suits luffy.

2) Servers are upgraded now they can handle much more traffic now but still I enjoyed it that's what matters.

Gear 5 crashed servers for about one hour by the average time system in every country on a average while Goku did that for more than 6hours .. Dbs crashed kore than 40 servers vru,funimations, crunchy roll, even corn sites .Even official crunchy roll tweeted bout it the episode was around in 2017 and while gear 5 is in 2023 the anime fandom growth in these 5 years is uncountable still Goku beats in a huge margin imagine if Goku UI was released in 2023 no other anime could have every come close ...... In my opinion and as far as I have perceived the concept of animation, I have always believed that a good animation is something that is easy to interpret, gives a cool vibe and is really soothing for the eyes to watch like the fight between King and Zoro. It's just my opinion, maybe that type of animation (Gear 5) is not quite cut out for me......

The only reason the Ul was that successful because Dragon ball came after 18 years, most people watched it because it was the childhood anime of many people and the only mentionable part was UI of the entire DBS one piece on the other hand is still continuing from more than 2 decades it has never stopped unlike dragon ball which had multiple seasons and ended,if One piece had that kind of long break i can assure that the day if would have continued its episode it would have break the internet

Personally I enjoy One Piece but the only thing I hate about it is Toei Animations. They just add tons of Impact frames which makes it hard to enjoy every moment in fights. Adding Impact frames is worst thing in animation by my personal opinion.
