On the roller brush it has soft brushes and also rubber fin’s. My question is when the robot is on hard floors do the rubber fin’s come in contact with the hard floor or just the soft brushes?
I am so happy with my new Shark. I have it scheduled to clean daily. We named our girl "Rosie" and she is worth every penny. We have two cats and it does a great job of picking their hair. It does not do corners all that well but I give any dirt a quick push into Rosie's path. So far that is my only negative comment is the 3 weeks that I have been using this Shark product.
Do you suggest turning the robot and dock off when not in use? I just got mine today, letting it charge before letting it, map but anytime me or my kids accidentally bump it, it starts going on it’s own so I wondered if we should fully turn off when not in use?

I just bought the AI Robot RV2011, may I ask if I can buy the self-empty bin for it or I must buy a specific model for the self empty function? Also. I saw a Shark Matrix UR2350AE which is very similar to the RV2300S model. May I ask what's the difference between these 3 model?
Great questions! Regrettably, the RV2011 cannot be converted to an Auto-Empty robot, as the charging pads on the bottom of the robot are in a different location. The RV2300S and the UR2350AE are from the same series with the same features.

Why do I have to wait up to 48 hours for a software update on my 480.00 vacumm? I just got it brand new....and it would not map properly cause it needs an update. So frustrating! $650 robot, that can’t clean more than one floor. Other robots can map multiple floors, but Shark can only do ONE!! Cust support (from South America) explained you can run it “manually” but it may not clean all rooms and map robot will be confused.
Customer service is brutal. The docking station motor smells burning everytime it's offloading the dirt from the robo-hoover. Called customer service within 14 days of receiving the unit and in a roundabout way said they won't cover replacement. Customer service looks for every way to get away from their warranty obligations. Avoid like the plague. By your robohhover elsewhere.

The robot has no on off switch on back

We recommend keeping it on 24/7, so you can run it anytime even if you are not at home. Still you can turn it off as this is completely optional.
