Tbf people were saying this about the lions for years while they were terrible. I think it’d be better if they just treated the thanksgiving game as any other prime time slot and just gave it to good teams late in the season but the issue with that is they really don’t want to have to flex holiday games. Lots of awkward logistics with staffing the stadiums and whatnot on a holiday.
