    Wrong premise. Traditional IRA perform low risk investing. Roth should have higher risk because of tax advantage.

    Thank you! This is especially useful when dealing with inherited Roth IRA where you are trying to invest it fully when you receive it, but you are trying to take the risk off gradually as you are approaching that 10-year mark.

      You might consider withdrawing some of it gradually over the years to stay in a lower tax bracket

      @@FaceInstitute Oh, I missed that it is a Roth IRA, so yes, withdrawals should be tax free unless the Roth account is less than 5-years old at the time of a withdrawal.

    When you say "hedging," are you referring to buffered ETFs?
