It's awesome. Did you have to cut the butcher tops yourself? What was the size of each side of Ben's desk? I'm trying to recreate the same desk myself.

Yes, we used a circular saw outside to cut it down and followed it up with a orbital sander. It was very easy to do . Ben's desk is HUGE. The longest side is 99x25 inches and the off hang is 32x25 inches. So total area is 131x25.

Quick question to the butcher tops. How deep are they, the web picture said 25 inches,, which is around 63 cm. Is it true, if yes. How do you feel about the depth? Is it enough or would use use more?

Yes this is true. They are 25 inches. Both of us think it is enough space but we wouldn't have minded if the butcher block came in maybe 28....Anything after that would be too large and we'd have unused space
