This format is absolutely great. I wasn't happy with the boat parkour thing, but this qualifier is logical, challenging, and fun for everyone. Team Phat just put up a timed challenge that I really think would be a good addition -- the same course with tons of pressure that rewards precision and all the rest. Free running is super important but it easily drops into doing tricks and ignoring the fundamentals.
A Speed Comp at Red Bull AOM would be the best thing ever... But I talked to the organisers and I think it's very unlikely. However Redbull are going to be doing more speedcomps in the future
The average person prefers watching flips over jumps (unless you’re Storror). That’s just the way it is. If you wanna be successful, you gotta impress the average person.
@@Simonskistunts If you want to get “discovered” and become successful, you have to be well known to a lot of average people. For example, do you think every single one of Pasha’s or Dom Tomato’s 1 million followers is a parkour athlete? There’s no way.
@@oppoaction or you could just be born into financial comfort and leverage your money into networking with big names. then you just ride off of their successes. definitely way easier to do but requires winning the birth lottery lol
Yeah, I think the same, this lines are pretty much how many flips can you do and how crazy can they be, looks nice but not really what attracted me to parkour
RedBull Art Of Motion is a Freerunning event. Jason was simply saying that if you want to be noticed as a parkour athlete, you need to do something similar to what Freerunning athletes do for competitions. You basically just need to show them what you’ve got.
@@oppoaction Yeah bro, this was a half joke 🤘 Titles like these just always get me, because this is what people will think "parkour" is when it is SO much more.
team farang liked my first ever post on IG. i didnt even know who they were at the time lol. but once i found out it made me feel proud/cool. thanks for that
I hate so much that there's nothing like that in my city I feel like a talent who cannot show what he got There are no good spot even to I've been doing parkour for years
You can`t impede the progress. You might not agree with certain developments, but it`s mostly beyond your sphere of influence. But you can influence your own anger, no one else is responsible for that
Great video. Covers AOM and parkour well. (not a freerunner here but a big supporter of the sport)

hopefully, this event will be held worldwide.. perhaps like "ART OF MOTION ON SET WORLD TOUR" if you will.. !
6:09 this man is nuts. Double back onto concrete. Respect but hope he stays careful.
There was also one guy who did double back and landed on his head you can see him in Bob Reese vlog. I think he is fine tho
*Quit parkour and enter freerunning full-force* - that is your formula for success, fellow readers 😏👍

@@oppoaction As i take it, being successful is about accomplishing your own goals. What has the average person to do with it?

One day parkour will be mainstream.
But football is also mainstream and it’s boring nowadays😕
@@toxiclimo4975 have you seen english pubs?
@@moss9452 No, I havenˋt😬 Is it entertaining?
@@toxiclimo4975 their obsesed. Football might get boring for some but it's still the most popular and richest sport.
@@moss9452 I think I belong to the "some", but it's okay that others like it, I mean you are absolutely right 😀
madness!
tbh I was way more impressed by the qualifiers than the actual runs
I had heard of titarenko! Tho I did watch way too much parkour
Josh Malone :0
How to get discovered in parkour:
Quit parkour ✅
Start doing flips ✅
(Don't get me wrong, this event is awesome)

@@MiklasKuoppala yes, indeed
I Didn't do a single flip in the qualifier and I still felt pretty 'discovered' 😅 (I'm the guy in the purple shorts)
Man I wish I didn’t save tricks in the selection jam, definitely not holding back next year
Good Video guys
Can someone explain to me why Archie only got 70 points in his final run?
prob bc he copied and pasted parts of his old run
@@itsalexpo I agree, Krystian's second run was completely different thats why I think he won
@@karolkonieczny9130 he also just built different
he did more than 5 tricks so he lost points lol
On-site qualifying is not just a competition it’s a love, everything just everything

If you do a video like this again could you leave the names of the athletes on the screen it was really hard to figure out who ended up going through
I'm interested to your teamfarang

Show Me What You Got! - rick&morty
Anyone know why Josh melon disappears?
Loved this, thanks. I really want to go to AOM next year.
The YT algorithm hates pk
this is good video
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing to meet everyone there😍
That was great!!!
how to get injured in parkour
How are you the the only RUclips channel that filmed that super low castaway
Wait for me in the next years🔥
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍I love this vid
Jason, you've become a professional at this. All the self development and hard work is paying off in favor of our sport. Love from Serbia!
Parkour is not a Competitive sports.
Don't make a purist sent an anger with this title!

Then why they bring Parkour name on that, since this is a "FREEEEEEERUNNING" competition?
cool
Awesome!
Almost every trick i saw in this video was some kind of flip or twirl...it's sad to see basic vaults to disappear more and more from parkour
....its Art Of Motion, dude. its a style competition.
if you want to see vaults and stuff, watch a skill or speed competition, like they do at NAPC
