This is the second video in the Options Trading for Beginners series with Jyoti Budhia Mam, and in this one we dive deep into Greeks in options trading. What are greeks, and how can greeks tell the factors that are affecting the option price? We have discussed Delta, Gamma, Theta, and Vega in detail, and Jyoti Mam also shares how she uses this data to get a better trade in the markets so that she doesn't lose money.
An option's price can be influenced by a number of factors that can either help or hurt traders, depending on the positions they take. Successful traders understand the factors that influence option pricing, which include the so-called Greeks.
Delta: Measures impact of a change in the price of underlying
Gamma: Measures the rate of change of delta
Theta: Measures impact of a change in time remaining
Vega: Measures impact of a change in volatility
The Greeks help to provide important measurements of an option position's risks and potential rewards. Once you have a clear understanding of the basics, you can begin to apply this to your current strategies. It is not enough to just know the total capital at risk in an option position. To understand the probability of a trade making money, it is essential to be able to determine a variety of risk-exposure measurements.

mam, does theta decays with X amount in rupees after the expiry of the day ( 15:30 ) ? or it is keeps on decaying continuously ? for example i can say it ll decay per min = ₹X / 375mins ( for the day )

That means ki agar Monday ko nifty 50 point gapup bhi hua to bhi option ki value more or less same hi rahegi?

Ma'am, Very nice explanation explanation. But I have one concern or disappointment. When you are explaining the concept of Delta, Gamma, we are not able to see the Delta values in the Option Chain as both of your pics are concealing (hiding) the values due to which it is difficult to understand the concept. For e.g. The Delta value for Call and Put values when combined comes to 1 but we were not able to see the values as they were mostly hidden.
