With this you can even use an external monitor if you want something even bigger than the on-cam screen. Any old computer monitor will do. I don’t know if that would fit your preferences but such a setup has been very useful to me.

all cameras do both, all a camera is, is a big sensor that turns light into data. a picture is just a small burst of light that hits the sensor in a small time frame (shutter speed) and all a video is a picture taken in rapid succesion over a period of seconds (Frames per second). Obviously you probably knew that but i sugest you master the key principles of photography if that is your plan for buying an expensive camera because ima be honest the one in your phone is probably enough. I implore you to figure out how to mess with the camera settings on your phone first like shutter speed, ISO, aperture (if your phone has more than one camera) so you can have a deeper understanding of photography. Definitely watch videos on how cameras work and how light works with cameras it is very interesting and will help in finding the perfect camera since all the good one cost well over 1,000$
