I've loved that character since my childhood, and with Reynolds "wimpy, and uninteresting type of guy" portrayal of Hal Jordan, was a complete let down. It's obvious that he was just there for the paycheck, and has no respect for, or idea of the true character. When my brother told me that he heard that they were making a *Green Lantern* movie, I was thrilled, until he told me that Reynolds was playing the part. I made my self be hopeful and optimistic, but sadly was disappointed. And now, I fear that they will *never* make another Green Lantern movie again. 😔

I respect the vision behind Blade Runner, but there's nothing about the movie I've ever found especially compelling. I think it had a great deal of potential story-wise, but that it fell short of whatever its true aspirations were. That's not to say there weren't some great performances from the cast, or that it was completely devoid of charm--just that there isn't a version of the movie where all the individual elements truly gel for me.

I hated Blade runner too. the movie bored me to death. I tried watching it a few times but I fell asleep, the new one had the same effect, I was so bored after the opening 20-30 minutes, I turned it off. And before you say "it takes 45-60 minutes to enjoy a movie" then I say screw that, entertain me or I switch it off, I hated Blade Runner 2049 too. Harrison Ford famously also hated Star Wars and wanted Han Solo to die in A New Hope so he didn't have to appear in the sequels but George Lucas denied his request. So when Episode 7 came around, he got his wish, and Han Solo was killed.
I would have thought Ryan Reynolds hated X-Men Origins: Wolverine too, since he makes jokes about being the mute Deadpool all the time in his Deadpool moves. I hate Grease too because that song gets played so often, even today, it does my head in.
Emilia Clarke should be grateful to get a film role, she's a talentless hack who's fame only comes from starring in GoT. Like most of her GoT costars, she cannot act at all.
Everyone hated George Clooney as Batman, even the man himself. The Role Ben Affleck should apologize for is his role as Batman or as we like to call it "Batfleck". That was just terrible. the whole movie was a joke apart from Gal Gadot's Wonder woman, she is flawless.

We are finally in a time when humanity is in sync with the technology to expect the stories to be matched by the technology to show what the writers had visioned, nothing less. Plummer was another Alec Guinness, thought he was too good for the role. But, as many have said, they accepted the parts and took the cash so they should have shut the heck up. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. It's one thing to regret a role because you didn't like your own work, but quite another to put down other actors, the writers, the director etc. Hypocrisy at it's best. Doesn't engender respect for those actors. If they are disappointed in their own performances then that's legitimate and good for them, otherwise they should bite their tongues before shooting off about any other aspect of the productions.

Green Lantern, Daredevil, Electra, Supergirl, weren’t iconic movies but they weren’t bad either.
Not all superhero movies are going to live up to Superman, Batman and Spiderman levels of storytelling and fan base.
Movies only suck when the actors, directors and producers don’t live up to what the audience already expects.
I don’t get Crispin Glover, making good decisions in the past or at present makes for a better future. George McFly believed in himself in the past, thanks to Marty, and now he is an iconic writer. Makes sense. What wrong message does that send ?????
Alec McGuiness, his lines in the Star Wars movies are some of the most quoted in movie history????? How can he say it was “foolish dialog”….. newsflash, most sci fi movies are full of foolish dialogues. Sci Fi often deals with the foolish, the absurd, the unthinkable, the inconceivable, and the outlandish becoming a reality. Sci Fi forces you to go outside the norm as far as everyday thinking goes.
Patrick Stewart was a Shakespearen actor. Doing Star Trek expanded his character into a 24 th century set of circumstances that was naturally was going to force change his dialog to suit the role.
I think these actors are way to critical on their own characters and their own parts.
George Clooney is a great actor but he just wasn’t Batman material, many actors just aren’t good for certain parts.
Nicolas Cage, a bad choice for Ghost Rider. Loved the comic book series, hated the movies. Nicolas Cage was great in Face Off but was stupid in the Movie Kick Ass which was a bad script from the get go.
Matt Damon, you either like the Bourne series or you don’t. In that case it is a matter of did you like the movie or not ????
Personally, the Bourne series was trying to fill an action movie market where Rambo ran its course and there was no plans for Demolition Man 2. So there’s that. Your not getting Shakespeare or J K Rowling level writing there anyways.
As an actor you have to give what your audience wants. Like giving rude customers professional services. Acting is putting aside your real personality and putting out a contrived one. Of course there’s going to be self doubt because it’s not genuine.

It’s amusing that the only actor in Twilight that liked it was Anna Kendrick and only because she was dead ass broke before it. Got to respect that.
Edit: speaking of Transformers, the boyfriend dies in Friday the 13th remake.

thought it was funny before i watched, now i'm reminded of SOME actors bull$hit. you read the scripts & went through w/it. cash those huge checks, will you return those? how bout alllll those residual checks? you got future roles & opportunity's because of that film. at least keep your critiques to yourself.

Green Lantern, Grease 2, Super Mario Brothers, etc. are hardly iconic movies. The actors hate those movies because they suck. They don’t hate them in spite of wide spread praise from critics and/or the public.
