Confusion is from the enemy. Please find a local church where you can be around other believers, we cannot do this walk alone. We need to meet together it says is Hebrews to not neglect meeting together. It is only Pride that keeps us from doing this. We need to die to self daily to walk with Jesus and live in His mercy. Take the step, Jesus is with you, trust in Him. Confession of your sin is the first step to healing, now you need to repent of it and walk in the other direction, when temptation comes call out to Him, whenever we are weak we are strong. Find your strength in the Lord. Trust in Him with ALL your heart and Lean not on your own understanding. Our understanding gets in the way because we do not think like God. The Kingdoms of God is upside down to what we are taught here. Bless you. Literally lay your burdens down

I just went through a traumatic experience and this song was on a loop on my head. Zephaniah 3:17 says God sings over us. I believe He was singing this to me to calm my nerves. Such a good, good Father!

God speaks to me through music. i have been really stressed, worried, scared, etc. randomly, on a car ride home, this song popped into my head and it wouldnt leave. i didn’t realize it was this song until i finally was tired of “lay it all down” constantly repeating in my head, so i looked it up. it was this song. i havent heard it in years, but it was definitely perfect for how i was/have been feeling. another song God has given me is “fear is not my future”
When ever I listen to this while studying the tear start to form. It's so humbling that the creator of the universe wants me to surrender all to his love.
It means surrender everything….it does not mean giving up. To me…..I just got confirmation about my purpose and in order to fulfill that purpose, I have to lay everything down to the Lord. Everything I want, everything I dream, every plan I have…..surrender it all and let God do his work. Also lay down all the pain, worry, stress etc…

I believe this one of the best albums over ever heard in my life! so transparent as honest. and that soul that just can't be faked. I heard the CD before I ever saw the video and I knew there was some black people singing. I love what makes us so different but together we can all make so much happen thru Christ who is our strength. Going through a period of brokenness on my way to repentance, Will you're lyrics are nothing but truth. That piano and the vocalists sound like a full on choir. reminds me of how church was when I was a kid. THANK YOU ALL SO SO SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!

Took just shy of a 2 hr prayer walk today just listening for Him and interceding on my 20 yr tribulation and there was rest in laying it down.. then few minutes later right in front of me would be His divine answer.. so I would pray some more and ask more questions and same thing out of nowhere a reassurance would pop up in front of me.. it was in that surrendering and laying it all down that He gave me rest even in the questioning.
I had a dream ln and this song was stuck in my head. I've been listening to this song since I woke up❤️ & I know that God wants me to finally lay down my frustrations and stop holding on to that pride. Anything that we give too much mind to, we make it our God, we always must remember to lay it all down at the feet of our father for only he is God and nothing/nobody before him!

I love the fact that they mentioned grief amongst the things we have to let down at the feet of Jesus.. I’ve being carrying a HUGE grief for the past 3 months after the passing of my uncle (who was like a father and a best friend to me since I was a toddler) and this song brings me to tears almost every time I listen to it..💔
