Regarding free mods vs paid Creations - I know this can be a sore topic for some, often with good reason given the state of the gaming industry as a whole. I'd like to clarify a few things if it helps... "Simple Dynamic Boostpacks" makes simple changes to EXISTING Boostpack types - increasing their boost type they are intended to be used for, in certain scenarios - keeping them in-line with vanilla. "Deluxe Dynamic Boostpacks" adds separate, EXTRA / NEW types of Boostpack modules to the game that can be crafted and attached to any Boostpack/Starborn armor - with additional features that you can earn/craft/unlock that are hopefully fun/useful. The upgraded versions can boost a bit further outside cities, thrust downwards, hover longer outside cities, etc. The intention for creating both versions was that no-one had to miss out entirely, and anyone could try out some similar features and be as informed as possible before purchasing anything. I've also made detailed videos for both to try and show their features and both versions add features alongside each other. I'd also like to remind everyone that all Verified Creators have previously, and will continue to publish free mods. I have released and maintained 7 free mods for Starfield alone (more on the way), and also helped some Verified Creators import and update their original xEdit mods into Creation Kit (not as easy as you may think) so that they could continue their work and make them available to Xbox users for free. I will always welcome constructive discussions, and suggestions / feedback on how to do things better - I am especially interested to hear people's thoughts on "lite" / sample mods for some kind of try-before-you-buy mechanic.
Since I downloaded these mods my boost pack sends me to space with one boost, completely ruined my experience. Anybody have suggestions on how to fix? I uninstalled everything and it’s still bugging out
Ok its kind of cheat-y but still very cool. I just asked on a different video if you could set negative values to the boost, but it looks like your registering/watching for an animation to.. then.. set your characters fall speed mult to x10? I didnt know it was possible, are you using a Stafield version of a Script Extendor? Because i know in skyrim you cannto change one specific characters fall speed, but you can change fall speed for everything at once. At least without SKSE. Obviously starfield might be completely different i wouldnt know lol
There is no SFSE involved - none of my mods use the script extender. Starfield has all kinds of extra gravity attributes for cells, the player, Boostpacks, and now even vehicles. Skyrim and Fallout 4 did not have them, they are new features added to the game engine.
I installed dynamic bp on Xbox and it’s broken my boost pack, how do I fix this? Uninstalling hasn’t helped. There seems to be several Xbox user who this has happened to and I haven’t found a fix yet.
I'm all for modders getting some return for their work, but I do think double dipping into asking for monthly support through platforms like Patreon and then also pay-walling access to 'Deluxe versions' of your mods behind Bethesda's Creation platform is a bit dubious. Do one or the other. Don't ask people to support you financially through monthly pledges so you can make whatever mod projects you want to work on, and then turn around and also paywall access to parts of your mods content on top of the monthly pledges.
This holds especially true considering that 'Creation Points' are only available in fixed amount bundles. So it doesn't matter if you only price your 'Deluxe paywalled version' of your mod at 100 points equivalent to £1, anyone wanting to buy it at 100 points still has to purchase a minimum of 500 points at £5 for your mod. Modders who decide to participate in Bethesda's paywalled mod ecosystem need to remind themselves of that fact. No matter what you decide to price your mod on the Creation Platform in terms of points, your mod will always cost someone wanting to use your mod a minimum of £5 to access. So is taking the bulk of the work done on the mod that is offered for free, but then cutting some coded behaviour out of the mod to then paywall on the Creation Platform as a 'deluxe version' of the free mod worth the asking price of £5 to the player, especially on top of asking for Patreon pledges? That's something Nerdedness has to have a serious think about. As anything they push on the Creation platform unless they offer it for free, has to be seen as having a effective cost to access of £5. Including to their Patreon supporters unless they want to introduce a way for their Patreon supporters to access the paywalled version of their mod circumventing the Creation Platform..... but I suspect Bethesda probably have a few points in their content publishing agreement about not working against Bethesda's financial bottom line in such a way.
I downloaded mods within the first hour And there was a free version that basically did the same thing but it was quite thrown together... This is the deluxe version😂
Just installed from InGame, dropped off the configurator-slate, but can´t pick it up again. Tried several times (within base, outdoor, within Ship,...) what to do?
You installed the Deluxe Dynamic Boostpacks? Or the Simple Dynamic Boostpacks? Or both? Deluxe Boostpacks do nothing until you craft the Dynamic modules into your Boostpack as a Spacesuit workbench.
Iv bought this on xbox but nothing shows up either in the space suit or industrial machines I'm pretty fed up trying man whats the point if its not working properly???
I installed the pack on multiple jet packs and the slate doesn't recognise any of them. Keeps telling me I ave no compatible jet packs for it. The only mods that have problems for me are the verified ones and the ones I paid for.
unfortunately at the moment all non-Bethesda created mods/creation disable achievements - but we're hoping to get the option to keep achievements enabled for some mods soon!

Could you do a version where only power attacks push you downwards? I’m one of the rare people that stabs flying enemies.

Any idea what caused this? I’m having the same issue
Same here, uninstalled and reinstall game, deleted mods everything. And it keeps bugging out
same
Can we get a mod to turn the boost packs into actual jetpacks so we can fly around planets like the Mandalorians from Star Wars?
Ah hell nah, it's destructive fart mod

This mod completely broke my game. This is unreal

feels like my boostpack barely works. any tips? i cant tell if mines broken
Another paid mod that should be free. Its just a simple code change. There is no actual new content.
Make it and upload it.

The free mods do be always better. Give it a bit of time and there will be a few boost mods.

I couldn't install the upgrade on my pack. It required research that was already 100% complete. Ended up getting my credit refunded

Now i hear its messing peoples game play up also so maybe its for the best it dont work for me
Fact, would take me 5 minutes to build that, most of that time would be spent creating the stupid webpage to upload the file too.
Does it disable achievement?
unfortunately at the moment all non-Bethesda created mods/creation disable achievements - but we're hoping to get the option to keep achievements enabled for some mods soon!
It's not working on Xbox at all, the only thing that's working is the name of the pack in workbench
Can you not get them free on nexus or not?
When outside the ship I'd rather have a jet pack mod🤔🧐
Does it work on star born gear?
yes it does - as well as any other armor with Boostpacks built-in
@@nerdedness OK, how do you do it? Spacesuit workbench doesn' allow you to modify Starborn boostpack. 🙁
This mod doesn’t work at all, all its done is break my boostpack
only $4.99
No helpin this pile of shit. Game should just be forgotten and lil todd should work on the next game we actually want.
Which is Starfield~
