- Many years ago on Tiktok, I saw this game's terrible ads every time I scrolled between AMV's and cat videos. Cut to last year, I'm talking about mobile games I've played with a friend, and a light bulb went off that I should absolutely talk about this awful game!

There is a world of bad mobile games out there that we never would be able to imagine ourselfs, it’s amazing!
This is my first time seeing someone actually talk about this game and dear god was the title was correct, its just as bad as the ads about it look
I would love to see you review Fate of The Empress because (from watching a gameplay), it also has laughably bad ads and an even worse gameplay
never stop uploading videos i find them so fun to watch
I saw this in my reccommeded games on my google appstore so I downloaded it ,played it for a few minutes got overwhelmed ,unistalled it and went back to playing one of the cybird ikemen games
These ads annoy me to death
I watched some ads of that game for a time, mainly on RUclips and I played it some minutes and then deleted it, cause didn't caught my attention.
One ad was of save one or both of the baby girls, and raise her or them, another one was of dressing to meet the emperor and so on.
I remember these ads vividly, thank god they stopped for the most part😂 i think i tried this game one time?? it had so many menus and options I got dizzy and didnt play much lol
Just hate the ads and love your videos ☺️
Had to google something after seeing this video and I swore it was about a different game. But no, apparently there's a whole market for this very specific type of mobile game. My confusion was not just because of genre similarities, but that the game I mistook it for is literally one word off from the title: "Legend of Empress". I was familiar with the name because I used to play a game made by the same company in the same genre: "Royal Chaos" (haven't finished the video yet, not even four minutes in, but based on my experience playing that game I bet I can predict what the rest of their video is going to be about: so many menus, so many micro-transactions, so many pop-ups advertising said many micro-transactions, so many mini-games, wild and dramatic and unbelievable story, toxic romance story, gacha for battle units and outfits).
After reading the comments, I also decided to look up "Fate of the Empress" and apparently that's also made by Royal Chaos' company. I legit may have been thinking of that game instead of Legend. Why are all these games so similarly named and carbon copies of each other?! Why was "Royal Chaos" the one outlier in naming conventions?!
I will say that I gotta respectfully disagree about the comment the game might be ripping off Love Nikki, although I'm open to being wrong. When trying to google the game I thought this video was about, I came across a wiki page on Royal Chaos' wiki that was talking about the origin of that game. Apparently it was an adaptation of "Legend of Empress", which itself was inspired by a Chinese drama called "Empresses in the Palace", which was adapting a novel of the same name. The Royal Chaos Wiki claims there's a historical basis for the story in Emperor Yongzheng, who might be who Emperor Mu in the story is supposed to be; not sure if this applies to the other games, the Chinese drama, and the novel. My point being that I think all these games are just rehashing of old Chinese court drama plots and tropes, which themselves are romanticized views of history.
Decided to wait until I finished the video before I press send and yep, while the set-up is different, that plot progression of a rotating cast of nasty antagonists is exactly "Royal Chaos", and fostering a baby was one of the mini-games. When it comes to the similarities to Love Nikki, it might just be common trends / staples in Chinese mobile gachas? Or whichever court drama gacha this game is ripping off ripped off that stuff from Love Nikki? Hold on, now I wanna google release dates. Okay so the timeline here is: Legend of Phoenix - 2020 (not sure if that's just global release), Royal Chaos - 2018 (currently can't tell if this is for global server only or also the og chinese, trying to find this info is hard), Love Nikki / Miracle Nikki - May 20th, 2015 (global server tripped me up, thank you Love Nikki fandom for keeping track of this stuff better than the other fanbases involved), Legend of Empress - 2015 (global server was 2019 which tripped me up at first; also currently can't find exact month). I do know there are more Nikki games prior to Love Nikki, but I'm not sure about the gameplay of those since I only played Love Nikki and pretty sure most of those games are defunct now.
Anyway, since someone recced "Fate of the Empress", I'll go ahead and throw its predecessor "Royal Chaos" into the ring. Even though it's the only one of these games I've actually played, I truly believe it's the best of the bunch (not the best game, but definitely better than all these). Idk about the other games but I know "Royal Chaos" has a male storyline in addition to the female one (of course you can only choose one to play). But also I mainly played this in middle school and then again as a nostalgic high schooler, so my memory could be completely rose-tinted rn. Ironically played this at the same time as Love Nikki and didn't notice any similarities back then.
Girl please talk more about mobile apps, its important to distinguish good from bad games 🙏
Also this will sound weird can you please check the otome series of ikemen? My friends and i started ikemen villains and i had access at some point to ikemen revolution,i would like your opinion on them but if you cant its alright 🙏
