Thank you for your sharing ! I am using EF 12 but I doubt there's some software problem of my EF 12. Have you encountered the wifi connection problem? Every time I turned the projector off and switch it of again. It shows wifi is connected but no internet connection. I have to reset the projector and initialize it. Then connects to the Wifi and it works. Once I turn the power off and turn it on again, the internet connection is gone again. ....
Sorry for the late reply! Mine does have the same issue but not to this extent. When I turned it on, the WiFi won't be immediately connected. I'll have to wait for a minute before I can launch RUclips for example.
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
Hey, great review! I've been wanting to get this projector and I am also comparing it to a lamp-based projector, the TW750. If I am going to use it purely for watching movies, mostly in little to no ambient light situations, any idea which of these two projectors will perform better? Also, do you find the EF-12 dim by any means?
I've not tested the TW750 though I'll say that this EF-12 will be brighter as it is using laser. I always turn off all the lights to watch movies with this projector 🤣 sometimes even with the glass door's curtain leaking light to the wall, I can still watch movies with this projector without any issues
@@iPeace247 You'll need a PC to download the Netflix APK from sites like APK Mirror. Transfer it to a USB stick and plug it into the projector. Then you'll need to download the app called "sideload launcher" and some file manager app (I use X-plore File Manager) from the Google Play Store on the projector. Use X-plore File Manager to install the Netflix APK from the USB stick and then use Sideload Launcher to launch the Netflix app. You're done!
There were a few more updates since the review got published - but no official Netflix support. I guess you can plug in an external mouse to use Netflix with it but it's a pain in the ass trying to get the app updated.
So if Netflix isn't supported am I able to hookup my x box to it to utilize other streaming services? You mentioned it wasn't good for gaming? Is there something specific that makes it bad to where I wouldn't want to play x box games on it? Is it capable of hooking up a surround sound system to it? Nothing fancy by any means just something basic. Thank you! I'm looking at buying one.
Thanks for watching and I think this is where things get a little complicated. 1. Yes, you can plug it into the Xbox and use other streaming services to watch movies 2. Correct. Projectors are inherently not good for gaming as it has a lot of delay between the your controller input and what you see. 3. Yes, it supports HDMI eARC and audio jack. 4. Screen size will definitely be blurry once it goes larger than the recommended size. The focal length can't keep up.

Thanks for the information. Dou you recommend it to watch movies outdoor? I mean to install it outside in the garden?
If you want to use it at night outdoors then sure. Otherwise, it'll be quite disappointing
Hi. Wich Android TV version is upgradable to¿?

Same I also wish the remote had a backlight.
Can u use crunchyroll on this?
Thank you for your review. I’ve been thinking of getting it and your video really helped me decide on buying it. Thank you!
Glad to help! Enjoy your purchase!!!
Where do I find scale and layout on my ef12
AirPlay??
Can we use this projector in moderately lit room and still get good watchable images?
Yes
Thank you for your reivew. May I ask the detail procedure to install Netflex apk into EF12?
I don't have a full tutorial but you'll need an external mouse to make use of it.
Step by step guide how to install netflix? Thanks.
Not gonna be easy though. Also it's quite pointless since you'll need an external mouse to make use of Netflix when it's installed.
@@NasiLemakTech Im already using bluetooth mouse, so all good. Can you write what needs to be done? No video needed. Thanks.

@@iPeace247 Glad to help! Enjoy watching Netflix on this amazing projector!
i love my projector its awesome only sad part is no netflix
Yeah, I agree. This projector seems to be aimed towards enterprises, but the features are perfect for home usage. Just needs Netflix.
Hi can this projector be mounted on the ceiling please?
Yes
Does it have a web browser?
Yes it does!
It says on the product specs it supports ARC?
One hdmi port supports arc yes
So it doesn't support HDR like it says it does on Amazon huh?
That I didn't even bother checking. There's just not enough HDR content to make it worthwhile
@@NasiLemakTech lots of shows and movie are in HDR on Netflix and Disney Plus. I'm pretty sure I see the option when watching on those apps on my TV.
I checked the manual and it does support HDR.
Has there been a firmware update since you published this video? I would like to play games from the switch and use Netflix with the remote.

It accepts 4k 60 then downscales it to 1080 which can look better that regular 1080
Thank you bro for the cool video, after a very long wait too mine is arriving tomorrow morning 😊
Cool 👍
Enjoy the new experience!

Also does the quality of it go down if you are using it for a 100"-120" screen size?

Yes. I use a roku stick on mine which allows me to use all streaming services available.
So is this a 4k ?
Seems like it. At least that's what my laptop detects
On the product specs it says you can play 4k content, the projector will down scale the video to HD 1080P.
