- We took the Perfect Pint tour in Dublin in search of the perfect pint of Guinness and we all took turns pouring our own to see who could pour the best one. Featuring me, my @TheTRYChannel husband Dermot, my real husband Alex and my mate Jack. Thanks to Keith from the Perfect Pint tour for having us!

Clare, Dermot and learning where the best pubs and pints are found - excellent!
Clare pulls the perfect pint. Why am I not surprised? And shoots yet another great video to boot! Hi to Millie!
It's nice to see you out with both your "Husbands". I love watching Dermot drink lol Clare you poured the best pint out of all of them. I agree with the ref/judge on this one.
Now that would be a company I'd love to do a pub crawl with. Too funny Dermot looking at the pint, there ya go if you ever see him looking at ya that way either snuggle in or run like hell your choice. Knew Clare would win the pint pour contest :) Best to all and of course scritches for the missing Miss Millie.
We all want to hang with you knuckleheads! 👍 hi lovely Miss C. 👋
Dermot and Alex are funny together.
Great fun was had by all involved and all who watched this video. Sláinte!
I do not know how you guys put away that much beer of ANY kind, much less Guinness! I've only ever had one, and MAN is it filling. Thank you for taking us along- that looked like a great time!
Guiness isn't that heavy. Of course, I'm accustomed to Bavarian doppelbock by the liter.😁
@@davidmarshall8628 It's heavy for me...but I'm not a big beer drinker in general, though I love a good mead =)
Genuinely, a glorious video 🇮🇪☘️💚... I love Ireland.
Clare's pull is a god damned thing of beauty.
Love when Dermot makes a guest appearance.
Ahhh really enjoyed this one Clare - great seeing you out and about with Alex and all your friends!!😃😃😃
Have you heard of the Guinness Guru we are loving your channel though. He’s worth watching.💚💚🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🌈☘️☘️☘️☘️🍀
What is Best in Life?
Pouring the Perfect Pint.
Drinking the Perfect Pint.
And hearing the Laughter of Clare.
Love your companions in this video! Especially including Dermot. His personality is amazing! You both are my favorites on the 5ry channel ❤🍀
The best pint is the one I’m under at the moment. Clair’s has a nice climb over the lip and the tall man has poured a neat edge so I’ll take both.
"They won't be able to tell I'm not French." That ripped out a genuine LOL belly laugh.
I really enjoy your cultural videos, Clare. Learn loads of information and provides ideas on things to do and see. I'd reckon great for people unable to visit as well.
Criminal they don't get loads more clicks, but the algorithm gods are mysterious.
It's not that mysterious once you realize YT is favoring corporate media over independent creators. They want to be the replacement for cable TV despite the fact that that format is dying for a reason.
Gift of gab. Leaving for Dublin from the states in a couple hours. I met Leem from Galway in Bratislava, Slovakia a couple months ago. He commented to me that I talk a lot. I told him that if I had his accent, I would never shut up! 😂
CHEERS FROM CALIFORNIA 😊
Brilliant as always! You always make Ireland look magical.
What a fun tour! And what a fun group of people! I concur with the judge; you poured the best pint, hands down. I used to hang out at a pub in the US owned by an Irish couple, John and Angie Burns. One evening business was slow, and Angie asked if I wanted to bartend. I was terrible! I couldn't do a good pour to save my life! I think I lasted only 15 minutes before Angie took over again. So props to you for pouring the perfect pint!
Enjoying very much!! Great fun with you guys 🇮🇪
Another fun video to watch! Thank you!
Loved the video! Thank you so much for the great posts. I know what I'm going to do the next time I go to Dublin!
Enjoyed this.
Loved watching this. I don’t drink beer but it was fun watching you. Hi Alex. God bless.
By far my favorite video that you have done! Well done Claire!
That really was a lot of fun... you guys always brighten my day😂...
Such a great video! Amazing work! 👋🏼
Awesome video! I just came back from a long vacation in Ireland. Seeing some of the places we were at is pretty cool.
Seriously!!!! These pubs are now on top of my bucket list! I have done the "official" Guinness tour but nothing compares to these pubs! @Clisare Thank you so much for posting this! ♥
Love the bucket list videos, I'm always sharing them with my boyfriend for our own bucket list ❤
Congratulations on the win 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you all were making me laugh so much 🤣🤣🤣 I really like Guinness a lot but ever since that Extra Stout came out that's what I've been mainly drinking 🥃 Sláinte
Now I want a pint of Guinness! I'm on an Alaskan island and there's no Guinness, let alone a decent pint of Guinness!
That was a FUN Vlog Clisare! Lots of laughter and fun! Question.. is Irish Stew that has Guinness in it an Irish thing or is it really an American-Irish thing? I must say I do enjoy Irish Stew that has Guinness in it as well as a pint of Guinness! :)
We have Guinness stew. I am almost positive it’s Guinness sauce and not actual Guinness but maybe I’m wrong 😂
@@Clisare Nice! I bet it is good indeed!
@@Clisare Hi Dear...LOVED THIS VIDEO...OMG!!!!
Regarding your comment: Fanta was created during WWII by Coca~Cola as a slap to the face of Adolph Hitler.
After The US entered the war in 1941, Hitler restricted all American-made products in the European countries occupied by Nazi Germany.
This hostile embargo included Coca~Cola.
So, Coca~Cola Corporation opened a similar beverage company (Fanta) in Germany. On paper, it had no connection to Coca~Cola. But Coca~Cola owned the company.
Hitler//The Third Reich never discovered the truth about Fanta being an American Company. 🙂
Best regards from Yucatan Mexico,
Ben
@@Clisare Hello Dear, My Grandmother was Irish. Her family immigrated to America; during the potato famine. Before I was in my teens, she taught me how to make "Irish (Guinness) Stew" & she always put 2 bottles of Guinness in her stew. My Grandmother told me..."as the stew cooks & the gravy thickens, the alcohol evaporates but the Guinness flavor remains in the meat & vegetables".
For decades...every St. Patricks' Day...I've made my Grandmothers' Guinness Stew & Irish Soda Bread or American Cornbread. My ex-Wife isn't a fan of it...but...my son & daughter love it.
I've looked at recipes for Irish Stew & many include Guinness.
So, it's logical for Guinness Stew made in Ireland to contain Guinness.... rather than Guinness Sauce; as you stated.
My life would quickly end if they ever stopped brewing//selling Guinness. Since 2007, I've lived in Mexico & It's impossible to find it here on-tap.
But it's usually available in cans at Walmart in larger cities in Mexico. THANK GOD!!!! 🙂
Best regards from Yucatan Mexico,
Ben
Loved this video ❤
I got my money on the Gorgeous Lady 😍🥰
That Pint tour looked so fun! Would love to do that some time. Cheers!
What a great video so mutch fun
Dermot seems " Cool" even out of The Try Channel! Nice Person
I just found your channel from the TRY channel, very excited to dig into more of these videos and get really solid ideas for a trip to Ireland in the near future. Enjoy the World Cup! Cheers, Clisare
I’ll definitely be doing that tour next time I’m back in Ireland
Way to go, Clare!! I knew you would win 🏆!!
Loads of fun! We have something similar we do in New Orleans. It's usually a pub crawl with a theme. Sometimes there's puzzles. Sometimes we must dress in costume.
I thought it was Mayo, God Help Us! 😂
Had an old friend from Ballina and he never failed to say that…
If I ever get over again, I’ll be stopping into the Gravediggers. Wandered around Glasnevin Cemetery one day, long before they had tours (they basically handed me a map of notable graves) and tried to locate Kavanagh’s from inside the cemetery with no luck. Next time!
Love all of your videos. I went to Ireland back in 2016. I really miss it. Looks like you guys had a great time. Kinda jealous. 😂
I need to do this tour!!!
When this video was posted I was in Dublin but we followed up out pints at the Guinness Storehouse with the Roe & Co. Distillery Whiskey tour/Flavours Experience and highly recommend both. I’ve been to the Storehouse multiple times too so that should say I definitely enjoy the place and a pint or 3,4…. I’ll go back and try those other Pubs as soon I can get back to Éire
What a riot !! Rolling on the Floor... etc.
I was laughing so hard when you showed the boys how it's done! An absolutely perfect pint. Oh, and Alex appeared to be enjoying himself more as the tour progressed. 😉
I laughed so hard watching this! lol Congratulations on DESTROYING Dermot at pouring the perfect pint!
Claire won the perfect pint pour 😊
Dang that girl is feeling feeling that music with her whole self ❤
I paused to read the definition of Coddle, I’m in!!! Great video ❤
Me to. That actually sounds pretty good, I want to try some.
Sitting here in Canada wishing I could get a pint like that.
Very entertaining video. Love seeing Dermot make a "guest appearance"
When the guy said Eugene I had to comment... Oakshire brewery in Eugene, Oregon has an Espresso Stout
that beats almost anything.
That was hilarious. How you didn't loose your mind talking with those three.
love u guys
lol castlebar is about 2 minutes from our house.
Best ever, Clare.
I wish I would of known of this tour the handful of times I've been to Ireland. There is always next time ;-)
Bonjour from Canuckia! Missed you all on yesterday's TRY with our very own Crown Royal! I bet Dermot is already familiar... also they didn't do MAPLE Crown which imho is the best one! Everyone buys Crown for the dice bag anyways... Aah a Guiness tour, amazing! That first thick muddy clink at the start made my morning. Slainte!
I enjoyed this very much! 🍺
Great film. Lovey group of lads you got there. RUclips just tried to autocorrect to lags which could be more accurate after a few more jars there so 😆
My gosh this is one of my most favorite videos. I laughed so much throughout the video. Also if my wife and I get to Dublin later this year we are doing this tour. Thanks for sharing this!
Please do, and let Keith know I sent ya 😉
Will do!
I would love to move this to the Top of my Bucket List. Lol
Aussie laughing at heat temps in ireland.
God love yas enjoy your lives to the fullest!
Great Video. great pint you poured
looks like proper craic. Clare you should try Hennessey with Sprite
Chode bridge.
I'm dead.
Really enjoyed, looks like you did too!
😂i love Guinness Extra Cold 😋
When Dermot pulled his pint, he gave it a muffintop! lol
reminds me of the time i got drank under the table by a couple of nuns at a wedding in County Roscommon, me the US bloke thought- huh this is just Guinness - last memory was everyone still dancing at 4am.
now you need to say Au Revoir!
Dolan would rock this run.
“Martin Scorsese sometimes rings me for advice.” I’m just imagining Alex getting a call and checking the caller ID and sighing because this is the fourth time today Martin is calling for advice and Alex is like “for the love of god, Martin, I don’t have time for this.”
It's 5:20am here in Detroit, and I REALLY want some coddle. It sounds absolutely heavenly.
Even with Irish parents, born Scottish. I needed subtitles for a wee bit of that…
That’s why I add them! 😂
This video is making me want to be a Guinness.... in a can. It's NOT the same as the ones in Dublin.... 😭😭😭😭😭 Thanks for the video!!!!
This Yank loves Guinness but has yet been to Ireland... that needs to change. I think the best way to see it is to have you and your Try Channel friends be my guides...That would be awesome.
I'm a dry shite but this is the kind of off the beaten path tour I would love to go on. Hate tourist traps!
Have you seen that video of Mark Hamill pouring a pint? Imagine getting a Guinness from Luke Skywalker.......and the Joker.
I have! One of those pint pouring videos linked I was doing the “perfect pint challenge” which is in the same pub Mark pulled his!
The only bad pint of Guinness I have ever had in Dublin was in the Guinness factory.
The only time me and my bf have loved Guinness was in Ireland! It's disgusting here in the US. Totally different.
Excellent Video. An Job ar fad. Gearoid as Connamara anseo ,i mo chonai i NYC
7 sups! In Belfast it's 17! And if you're enjoying it properly, that takes 40 minutes. Or 3 cigarettes is how I used to time it when I smoked.
not gonna lie...Guinness in the states couldn't hold a candle to a good pint in Ireland. Almost couldn't walk home after the third 😂
You are correct! It’s not even the same beer. Last time I was in Dublin, I’m sure I just drank beer. I don’t remember eating anything. The only Guinness worth a damn that I’ve had outside of Ireland was in Vienna earlier this year. The irony of it was that I was drinking with 2 gents from Galway!
What's the name of the first pub? Is it by Phoenix Park?
Could be 👀
The one that is drank is best.
In my opinion the Cross Keys Inn has the best pint
I do wonder which Try Shoot Dermot went to after this. And of course the winner was you. Dermot can put the pints away but there was no question. :)
Those pints looked so good though
Irish people drinking Guinness is always a great watch. Don’t cover your eyes, please, 🔥queen.
Was the 3rd pub the Temple Bar? I've watched it on Earthcam many times and the red doors looked familiar.
It was not!! 🤣 not in a million years 😂
I've heard that it's an overpriced tourist trap.
@@timtrozzo9973it is, it’s like 9.75 for a pint there, but at the same time going in there maybe just once isn’t all that bad, I’ve heard the pint is alright too
Way better than the Try channel 👍🏁
Well, I'm of Irish distraction (ha ha!), I definitely have the gift of the gab... and sadly, I can not drink alcohol of any sort as I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. So! Gotta any nice sparkling...water? Ballygowan's?
I want to go!
but only if I can do half-pints like Clisare
Which pub is the first one had the 3 presidents visit? Been in all the others at some point.
