Heartwork. One of the best metal albums ever.

Carcass rocks. For one of their catchier (yet still extreme) songs, listen to the title track from Heartwork. The song's grooves are killer, and it also has a little bit of blasting.

I don t know any other metal band more consistent than Carcass through out the decades. You may like some albums better than others , but they are just their own thing. And its so hard to find these days in anything, like a fucking unicorn.

"Scythe's Remorseless Swing" might be the hardest song title to say out loud! I like this song and enjoy the new album overall. Not my favorite Carcass album ever, but it has some cool highlights. And Bill Steer is always fun to listen to

Hey T... I introduced you to Billy Strings not too long ago, and he is dropping a new song tonight. I thought you might be interested in reacting to his Premiere of the song, and the excitement he is creating today for Bluegrass by joining in tonight. Just a suggestion... sorry if its off topic for this video.

I always loved how bands like Carcass, Death, Voivod, and Prong, took chances sonically, and weren’t afraid to say, “Fuck Convention!” , or “How it’s always done!” They made some killer music because of it. Carcass doesn’t get the credit they deserve in the death metal arena. They weren’t the best to ever do it, but they will NEVER be duplicated. Such a killer sound, and they truly did make some of the most brutal music to ever be recorded..As far as my opinion, anyway. Bill Steer is one of one of best metal guitarists to ever pick up an axe. Them’s facts!

starting to sound the way they did before "heartwork" again, which is a great thing. "hw" was too mainstream for my taste, which is probably why so many people choose it as their favorite -- to each his own i guess. personally i'll take "symphonies" and "necroticism" every time. this is thankfully sounding like it did then, i'll have to check out the new one...

You need to go back to the early 90’s Carcass T, react to songs like Pedigree Butchery, Incarnated Solvent Abuse, Buried Dreams, No Love Lost, Heartwork, Embodiment to name just a few,
Jeff Walkers vocals are in my opinion the best in extreme music
If you do go back into their discography T definitely have the lyrics ready

This is a cool one. Carcass was very integral to the evolution of modern extreme metal. Both grindcore and melodic death. And they just shred. Really fun band to listen to. Serious as all hell with some pretty dark lyrics but also very witty and funny. Not a combination you find often in any band. Always loved their vocals. They've been doing it a long time and still relevant.

    IMHO "The Big 4" are:
    Suicidal Tendencies
    Slayer
    Carcass
    Anthrax
This new Carcass album is awesome.

      But my Big 4 are:

@@denacdenac6147 the last time I saw Carcass was on their Surgical Steel tour at Northumbria University, they were supported by Napalm Death and Obituary. Brilliant gig and Obituary were the loudest band I've ever heard. They opened up with Redneck Stomp whilst I was stood at the bar with 3 pints and the beer was literally vibrating and jumping out of the pint glasses. Just dumfoundingly loud.
      Awesome gig.
