I'm a coder and shoot revolver LOL. I got it though: You like being different just for the sake of being different. You get asked "Coke or Pepsi?" and answer "Dr Pepper". You have crippling ADHD which is why you bought a gun that comes with a fidget spinner. You move like a crippled sloth, so you like having the excuse of a more technically challenging reload while moving. You have the easiest gun to dryfire with, but you never do. You can blame the heavier trigger pull for every mike. Despite the mythology of revolvers being "more reliable" your gun is more finicky and prone to breakdowns than Open guns.
As a guy that's been shooting his .45 AARP 1911s a lot lately, kind of disappointed Single Stack came out unscathed. Bring me another Ensure and vodka and let me tell you about the good ol' days, kiddo.
I shot in US PSA open division starting in the late 80s through the early 90s. What my gun said about me was “this is the best I can afford”. I was shooting single stack when the other masters were using double stacks. I had a double port comp while they had hybrid comps. I was using an aimpoint PDP3, while they had C-mores. It gave me a really good feeling when I would have a stage win, or beat the local GM that didn’t have to reload when I did. All my money went towards my shooting. When I turned 22, I moved out of the house and could not afford to shoot that level any longer. I even ended up pawning my open gun to make rent. Now I have the expendable money, but will never shoot that level again with my 49 year old reflexes. I shoot for fun now but my guns are nicer.
Walther shooters - you have class like 007, you value functionality, reliability, and style. You are a gun guy who also likes Apple & Adidas products. You drive a Lexus and shop at Lowes more than Home Depot. You fully fund your retirement plans and are the reliable guy that everyone asks for financial advice. You have a collection that includes of Glock, M&P, Ruger, and Springfield. You aren't a kid and you have the money to buy the perfect gun out of the box. You've changed a couple springs, use a fiber optic front & blacked out Dawson Precision sights. You shoot like a boss and know more about guns than the neanderthals that spend all their time shopping for guns but never shooting them.
Yet you pretend that the high bore axis doesn’t matter because your gun returns to zero. Even though it flips more than a dolphin at a sea world exhibition. The slide is so chunky that it would be a good candidate for a body Acceptance award at a woke event or as a former weight watchers picture in an upcoming commercial. You talk about the amazing precision crafted guns but try to hide the elephant in the room, that they are owned by Umarex and they put Walthers name on some very sub par guns over the years. Walther would have been out of business a long time ago, but James Bond is your Lord and Savior and keeps the brand alive
That was pretty good, 🤣 but as someone who doesn’t have, but desperately wants a Walther Q5 Match SF, I’m a bit disappointed you didn’t mention that. Hopefully, you’ll come out with a part 2 and include that, and some other pistols, like Beretta, Canik, FN & HK that weren’t in this video…
Just subscribed bro, been watching for a while(apart of that 80%) but the last two videos you killed it! Loved the rant and also all your informative technical demonstrations.
Okay. I started learning how to shoot in 2014. I was lousy, bad. But I continued to learn from those better than I. Wasnt too concerned about what gun they used, more about fundamentals, techniques.
3 gunners comment was funny! Accurate, yes sometimes we use pistol matches for practice and don’t care where we finish. We use them to test gear and get some plate racks in. I have shot them from the hip on some stages, used only weak hand on some stages and re-holstered and drawn on every target on a stage. No, I don’t care where I finish, sometimes. Sometimes I do try to compete. I do care where I finish in all 3 gun match’s. Some of the best pistol shooters I know are 3 gunners and usually they are top 1 or 2 in the pistol matches. Great content! Super funny!
Also, now that Foley is gone and you and Region 3 Matt have articulated an improved vision for National competition organization and level 3 and 4 matches, what’s next? How do we get there over the next 5 years?
That was pretty funny. I am both happy and sad Beretta got left out. I love my 92 Steel I though seeing my blokes would just use a 92Fs or M9 etç probably good it didn't get a mention
LOL - That was great. I don’t shoot competition, but always wanted to, and was saving for the “right” pistol. Now I don’t even know what to get. Maybe I will show up with a revolver and compete against myself in a division that no one is interest in.
Hey that's what I do, except I use one that the manufacturer claims to be for competition, has 7 instead of 8 rounds. Gotta love standing reloads but hey at least I won the division
I definitely try to convince myself that replacing the s2 TRS is "not that big of a deal." Even though I spent 30 mins cussing at an inanimate object last time. The new design TRS is even more of a pain to install. The new TRS has a longer leg making it harder to seat.
I have a Canik TP9sfx for IPSC "it says yup I'm broke so what" 😂 My CZ P07 for SRA and IDPA says "yup I'm broke so what, it's still a CZ" 😂 my 20 year old Beretta 92 stock says "yes I'm really really broke, but it's really my wife's gun" 😂

Revolver shooter checking in, I feel slightly offended my "slow" Division was left out of this video and DEMAND (not really) to be included in the follow-up. Needs at least one jab at how I can't even reliably count to 8, and the super specialty ammo that won't work in any other gun except my 929. Technically 9mm but 160gr with a 1.175 OAL may as well be exclusive to that gun since it can't even fit in a magazine. Oh and I say "clips" all the time, because Moon Clips. But really, shooting revolver and beating people in Limited (occasionally Open) feels so good. Add to that people watching are invested, hearing the groans I feel inside when I miss that one shot and I needed all 8 for the position is a cool feeling. Even better when you hook up and it all goes right. Good video. Started USPSA shooting a Glock 17 and can confirm, I eat oatmeal almost every morning for breakfast. (sobs quietly)

I'm offended that you excluded Walthers (John Wick, Master Race wannabes?) and Berettas (know every line in Lethal Weapon by heart?). 😉 I also shoot CZs and just ordered a 2011 so at least I didn't feel completely left out 🙂 Fun stuff. Thanks for the chuckles.👍🏻😁
I was gonna say the revolver division was left unharmed but none of them know what the internet is
Zing!
The PCC guys got off too but they’ll never know since they’re off the grid
@Sarah K I think the focus was pistols and not long guns.

I must correct you on one point. I eat OATMEAL everyday. Still with my bare hands because you are right, spoons are VERY unreliable.
Oatmeal is porridge, dude. And I eat it every day as well.

Ok Boomer.
He mentioned it. You fell asleep
I didn't buy a Sig for the sticker. I bought one for the challenge coin!
I just keep buying Sigs because I can't afford their magazines >_> At least two with each one!!!
This guy gets it. The custom works coin is definitely worth it. Can confirm.
Nailed it.

The Joe Dirt clip w/Robbie pulling up in his Trans-Am and the 2011 graphic on his chest had me crying🤣 Great video👍🏾
Awesome video!
You need a part 2 there are a few other guns you missed.
How could you leave Beretta out from this roasting?!?! 😂
I love this one.... Nicely done. Cheers
Does anyone still use Beretta? The only person around here was because it was his duty weapon, then switched to a Q5 SF.
Nothing for those of us who not only run a pistol but also bring the PCC so all the handgun guys can complain about our shooting a PCC
Didn't say anything about my Beretta's 92g LTT Elite with all the upgrades from Langdon Tactical. Careful Ernest is watching you!😎
I took this personal for some reason, but am also conflicted since I own/owned just about all of these pistols.
You nailed it all in one pass! So good! We’ll done.
Great writing, that had to take awhile. Funny stuff!!
I know all of these guys - in fact, I shoot with most of them. Brilliant take on our sport - thank you and greetings from sunny Malta :-)

My mom used to say that, there is much truth said in jest! Love the commentary!
Just started off in Limited with a second hand 2011, because I did no research about the most common divisions in SC😬. It seemed like a good idea🤷🏻.
Now do one that hits all the divisions! I feel left out shooting Single Stack and Revolver. 😜
Spent way too much time hatin on CZ's. Great vid!

Super funny. I would like to get your take on a guy that is obsessed with his Beretta 92's.
Need a USPSA shooter part 2 with Beretta, single stack, jerseys, appendix carry, and flashlights loo
