    Will there be any videos regarding the differentiation of treated jadeite and untreated jadeite?

    • @iSaiiri
      @iSaiiri  4 года назад +1

      Le Azure sadly, there will not be; I’m no longer in China and don’t plan on going back for the foreseeable future. Thank you for watching and for you interest, though! :)

    Excellent video, very well presented and informative.
    I work with coloured gemstones and have been very lucky to have some very nice quality jade as well both Jadeite and Nephrite. For anyone that is thinking of buying good Jade make sure it is certified by a reputable gem lab (my pieces are). If someone is not prepared to get a gem report then it is more than likely fake or very poor quality. And remember you get what you pay for.

    I read on another channel that Jade isnt found in China.

    • @iSaiiri
      @iSaiiri  4 года назад

      G G I haven’t heard this! I know it’s definitely found in other places as well, just different kinds. The information I got was from this particular jade refinery.

    • @VanSaused
      @VanSaused 4 года назад +3

      Jadeite isn’t FOUND in China, rather they sourced it from Burma since it’s a market of it’s own. There’s also Guatemalan Jadeite that’s also popular for it’s Olmec Blue variant.
      But Nephrite can be found in certain areas of China (iconically called Hetian, Mutton Fat, Xinjiang), but since it’s so common to find Nephrite, it’s usually scattered, with B.C., and Russian being the prime example of what a Nephrite should look like, but there’s also the Edwards Black Jade that’s from Wyoming that also had it’s own cult following.

    That's weird I read that the nephrite where the ones that change colors

    • @iSaiiri
      @iSaiiri  4 года назад

      Steven Soun it doesn’t change colours, but the colours get more vibrant the more you wear the piece. Jadeite is rarer and is the species of Jade that contains more reds and pinks and lavenders while nephrite is mainly greys and greens and occasionally brown, yellow or white.

      @@iSaiiri sorry yeah that's what I meant...but how bout if its white icy jade will it sliwly turn green the more I wear it?

    • @iSaiiri
      @iSaiiri  4 года назад

      Steven Soun it won’t be a vibrant green like most jade you see in the video. To my knowledge and understanding, it won’t change much at all; it will get more shiny and bright looking. But jade reacts differently to everybody.

    • @iSaiiri

      geraldine pearson I do not sell Jade; I bought my Jade bracelet when I was in China two years ago from the company in the video. All the information they shared is their own information.
