So many steps! I think I'll keep using my container of old fashioned Comet or Old Dutch cleanser & get it done in one step.
Yeah I use Comet also! Just like my mom use to.
Absolutely beautiful!! Now, that I bought the liquid Bar Keepers for stubborn stains on my pots. I'll do my stainless. Sure is pretty 😍
Yay! I actually already have all these products! I’m doing this today.
Just tried this. Came out awesome!
I cannot go to bed at night until my sinks and tap are spotless. My kids and husband know better than to leave a dirty sink. lol.
I usually scrub mine out nightly. I tend to use window cleaner to shine it up when I'm through.
I really appreciate the video. It has helped me so much.
Glad to hear it!
I am going to go try that right now! Thank you for the tips!
Yes! do it. Something about a clean shiny sink just makes your whole kitchen look better.
That’s not dirt. That’s basically the sink.
Adding to Monday's to do list!
This may be fine for a once a week routine.
I have a feeling this will really help my older sink which is getting pretty dull
It will!
Mine has what looks like a little rust in the creases/corners (my sink is a box instead of rounded bottom). Heard baking side works to remove that in stainless steel. Yes?
I would try BarKeeper's Friend
I use baking soda to clean my sink with and it looks good when I'm finished
What do you recommend after this for a normal nightly clean to keep it up?
After you are done doing the dishes just spray it down with water and wipe with a cloth and dish soap. I prefer Dawn but to each their own.
Omg! Soooo many steps to clean a SS sink. Hence why i don’t like or have them.
❤❤
Do you feel that Bar Keeper's Friend dry cleanser is too abrasive?
Seems like a redundant process!
❤
I am thinking of a single sink vs double as I renovate. I see you have a single.. advice? thoughts?
The best decision I made when I renovated my kitchen was putting in a single basin sink. I love it! If you install one, just make sure you get one with rounded edges like the one in this video. My sister in law has one with square edges and she hates it because it is so difficult to clean.
I recommend a double! I lived in an apartment with a single and its such a pain if you're doing hand washing because then you can't have a wash and a rinse sink,
This question is a toughy, this actually isn't my house but I do have a single basin at my place and I love it. It really does come down to personal preference. If you are a hand washer you can get dry racks to fit above the basin. @lovestobake4137 is 100% correct if you do go the single basin route NO square edges! So hard to clean. And be sure your builder supports the basin properly! Water is heavy, these single basin sinks are large. Fill them even half way and add some dishes and BAM! We have seen it at so many homes where the basin isn't supported properly and is actually falling out of the counter.
