IMO the only way to halt the dump site is a legal lawsuit. The emergency proclamation passed in the spring allows the government to ignore Hawaiian sacred sites and/or historic sites. It also allows the government to ignore EPA rules and regulations. So if a lawsuit challenging the proclamation showing it will harm the native historic and sacred sites along with the damage to the environment ignoring EPA rules and regulation. Then get the natives along with other residents to protest 24/7. Block the road to get to the site.

Maui County will never spend another year and a half picking the toxic Ash back up, Loading it on 40,000 trucks For another 300 days to some other site! they've already started to build the permanent site at Olowalu before the public or the County Council even voted on it! mayor Bissen and the Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA and the county Council are what you call the Hitler's of the Island!

You don´t wait until the danger has passed before you do something. They should have all gotten out of their cars and forced the cops that were blocking their only exit out of the way and as soon as it was over they should have jailed those responsible for the tragedy.

Well if they have any connections to Peta, they are nothing but a pysop pretending to be something they are not..
