This isn’t World War 3. A World War is characterized by total war, and direct military confrontation between developed nations, and their alliances. The current situation would more accurately be referred to as the 2nd Cold War. Since the first Cold War was characterized by arms buildups, proxy wars, sabotage (with plausible deniability), and the carefully managed policy of avoiding direct military confrontation between the developed nations.
One reason for confusion is the common conception of what 'war' is or what a world war is. I actually see it all as a continuation of what began during the Great War ( WW I). Large nation-states (or alliances thereof), industrialized, with dense populations competing for everything (playing zero-sum games), with absolutely no baked-in motivation to reach a workable, symbiotic stability. Add in a situation where decades of secrecy and mass-scale manipulations have become 'truth', and it all adds up to a very stressful environment for the aware. IMHO.
It's the nature of humans governed by the laws of a universe where scarce resources exist, death exists and competition and violence therefore exist. Theres no escaping it because as long as violence exists, you must be prepared to be violent or someone else will be (im referring to nation states IE the highest levels, but the same is true at the lowest levels EG in prisons). It's not the case in the middle strata where we live because we're policed etc, but remove the police as with nation states and prison, and true human nature reveals itself. We're basically stuck. Animals are the same and I'm pretty sure aliens would be too. Violence exists therefore you must have capacity and willingness for violence or the other side might kill you first. The main difference materially speaking is we have nukes now, and whatever comes next... So the jeopardy is higher, and the game theory has therefore changed (somewhat... hopefully). I agree with everything you said by the way.
Agreed, the Federal Reserve was established in December 1913, six months later “The Great War” began. As a result old empires were dissolved, new empires coalesced and the map was re-drawn at Versailles. Then there was Great Britain’s issuance of the Balfour Declaration in 1917, an ominous indicator of what was in store in the coming decades.
@nicholasanderson9019 Totally disagree with 'it can't be helped', followed by blaming human nature. Ointment my opinion, and no offense intended, that is intellectual laziness. Hello Mr. Bustamonte I have been watching you explain things for some time now. Always super interesting conversation ( think I saw u on that white guys podcast) Really easy to see what the CIA saw in this young man. Outgoing, easy to talk to, explains issues where everyone understands. I specifically watched where u went into detail about different intelligent agencies. You pointed out the differences in thought process of the nations intelligence agencies. My questions: if you were that aware of how things differed like China never says they did it but don't say they didn't like the Russians. It's been awhile, I'm old but I have a daughter. Only because of that child, I have a huge interest in the world she will b in. Her father is older than me and we worry for her well being cause we r getting older. Again remember we were old anyway lol. I guess I'm trying to understand why it seems some in this country are eager to run this country into the ground. Some are escalating circumstances. Why did they let China do this for 4+years? Spy, hack, and cheat with zero consequences from the US? I live in Texas born and raised here and have no desire to live in any state but Texas. If u grew up in Texas during the 90s, the understanding is immediate. Pretty sure we learned Texas history B4 US history. My daughter is a teen and she had a mental breakdown cause we moved from south east Texas to west Texas. The only thing she wanted to do in SA was go to the Alamo. She thought it was closed and tears streaming down her face. I tried to get her focused on other things but NO she was hyper focused. It was not closed and thankfully she got to see all.......she didn't skip one plaque, statue, or info she could read. She is super smart but no interest in Ripley's believe it or not, iMax, wax museum, or go carts in SA if she couldn't see the Alamo..........I have never had a fear that my daughter would not live in a "good world" or in the country we grew up in and loved. I feel like I missed something!!! Sorry this is long but I have no idea who to trust or listen to. It's confusing!!!
Oh btw, I believe it's going to get ugly. Knocking out power grids, communications, and whatever else. Food shortages and the heat.....be a lot like after a hurricane hits and no one has food, water, or power. We have lived thru many hurricanes. Harvey water covered my daughter's elementary school. We evacuate sometimes. I was also there for Katrina, Rita, and many more.
He was speaking in the context of the anticipation of WW3 that was going on in the 1950s and contrasting the perception of another global conflict from the lens of back then vs now
This peoples in this country will one day find out that the extent of their loss and sufferings are because of a select few who wouldn’t get out of a seat that is not theirs. On that day, no army or coalition in the world will save them from the people.
And part of it is we are being attacked thru our phones. We don’t know what to believe and I’m sure they have us all right where they have planned all along. I hope not,
He completely left out Turkey’s huge role in the conflict, not to mention how the U.S. funded both sides at different points, which makes things way more complicated. As for China, yeah, they vetoed UN sanctions, but there’s no solid proof they actually funded anything. And calling this war unique? That’s ignoring all the proxy wars during the Cold War, when the Warsaw Pact was way stronger militarily than Russia is now.
He also named Russia and China as Syria's main backers, when everyone knows it was Russia and Iran... building the narrative. Once a spook, always a spook.
WWII prelude. Ethiopia, Spain, Korea, China, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and finally Poland. WWIII prelude and early stages, a bunch of proxy wars… makes sense Russia would resort to more proxy conflict to not fall behind others’ seizure of power vacuums while they recover from loses in Ukraine, like how they came back stronger after mobilizing even after loses from Hitler’s invasion.
Wow wow wow, take Spain out ot there. We not fighting any wars soon. If we do is a NATO starter of shit. Also, not very good idea to invade Spain. Truly bad idea historically.
Yup, true, Yemen has been called the breading ground for ISSI for many years but like he said , a proxy war but this one's the Saudi Arabians proxy... Dangerous times. Live in Peace People
