Jingles: "I'm sorry" No, you're not. Because that's a French ship and you're British. So as a matter of culture you are required to throw shade against everything French. ;-)
Just had a little celebration for me getting out of the army after 6 years, came home from the bar, leg is still a little broken but getting better. Then BAM, Jingles video. Today is the best!!!! 😊
7:10 - I am with the bologna here. You don't have to enter the cap to scout it. Where the bologna is pinging is back from the island where the terrible can still spot the ships in D2/D3. Basically at this time stamp the terrible is at G4. If he were in G2, which the bologna pinged, he could spot into D2/D3 with his detection circle not crossing the E line. Same as where he is now, except he has an island blocking his view. DDs have 4 jobs in a specific order they should achieve. Live, spot, kill, cap. Right now that flank is no spotted, and he's over in mid slinging shots at CA and BB in a cap that is pretty much lost. Because he's faffing about near B the A side has stalled out because the bologna can't spot, neither can the BBs. Meanwhile any CA or DD that does move over to that side will spot the BBs and the CA on A side and allow that team free shots. But, French ship captains gotta go fast, fire guns, and to hell with teamwork. They are the sniping German BB captains of the DD line. 7:41 - In fact, look at that, he gets that island out of the way and he spots into D2/D3. The only reason he got spotted was he fired at CA in B. So he has to dump torps and disengage, causing his spots to disappear and once again the BBs lob shells over the island at F3. Sad. 14:40 - Not a lone Mainz, the Kagero is there. Spotting for the Mainz. The Mainz has been harassing the BBs because the Kagero has been spotting for him. That is why A fell and why the Balogna was pinging the map earlier. Frodo conceded the spotting on A and left 3 teammates up to dry.
100%. This player griefed his team basically all game long. Refused to spot. Too cowardly to kill mainz 5 minutes earlier when it was a free kill. So many very awful plays but the enemy team decided to keep overpushing.
@@fruityloopsguy I saw Marina Sirtis at a convention and she mentioned how they both love the fact that in the future all Frenchmen will speak with an English accent.
Yea but the Mainz, Kagero and Cachalot help throw this match. They saw 3 BB's pushed back and kept up the pursuit. Which took them far away from the caps to defend them properly. While also getting spotted and killed for it. Those 3 just had to stay near the caps and take up a defensive position and they would've won.

I have played this game ages, and I just figured that the ticks and numbers mean something at zoom when targeting, I always just went with feeling and it has worked.
Yeah, plus the rest of red team not realizing that with Mass and Gneis gone, nobody was a credible threat to that oddly sneaky Le Terrible. Kaga presumably forgot, in the press of defending against first the New Mexico and then the Champagne.
Howdy Jingles, I hope you are feeling good and thanks for the video I really enjoy your content but I apologize for not being able to support you financially as I have been going through hard times. Just know that I enjoy your videos and commentary and have been loving it for several years I'm not sure you realize how many people you help get their day started with a chuckle Thank you very much from the bottom of my ❤
I loved Le Terrible back when I still actively played. Takes a lot of patience waiting for the right oppurtunity to cap yourself unless you can support a stealthier DD. Got pretty mean firepower and the torpedoes are nothing to sneeze at since despite the lack of range and quantity they hit hard and are quite fast. Also unfortunately you run into a lot of folks like that Bolognesi who love telling you how to (suicidally) play your ship.
"New Mexico is hot on the tail of..." I'm gonna have to stop you right there Jingles. New Mexico and hot on don't go in the same paragraph, unless you're talking about the actual state which is typically very hot.
It's always, "support me, do what I want, I'm dead because you didn't sacrifice your own game for me," isn't it? At least this Colonel Bolognese either shut up or left game as DearmrFrodo started holding down the center. My evaluation, that nobody asked for: enemy team failed to respond to Dearmrfrodo capping, once the Gneisenau and Massachusetts were gone, he took 2 caps almost uncontested, and continued to deal damage. Victory disease? Lack of situational awareness? I don't know, but I do know that the Kaga was under attack from that point on, which gives some explanation for why he didn't focus Dearmrfrodo even though he was at one point aware of him. Not an easy priority to understand. In any case, after a certain point, everyone no the enemy team seemed to assume that DearmrFrodo was someone else's problem unless he was right in front of them, and failed to notice that _there was nobody else dealing with him._ Still not exactly a throw, but close enough, especially with the poor performance by most of the non-surviving members of Dearmrfrodo's team making a friendly throw seem possible!
I got no problem taking a LaTerrible against a carrier. It's got great air defense if you define air defense properly: the ability to avoid damage from the enemy planes. Whether you shoot down any planes or not is neither here nor there, the carriers just regenerate them anyway.
I can't play enough to start up a new tech tree so I'm stuck with mostly German boats. I've lost track of how many people got upset that I wouldn't drive into a cap circle when everything outspots my boat.
Me thinks Le Terrible (which apparently is a counter torpedo-er something according to the French - saw a mock-up of it early this week) should really be called Samwise, given his name...
Luckily for the British Expeditionary Force, wich ran away from France with its tail between its legs in 1940 at Dunkerque, the French troops did not run but held the perimeter so hundreds of thousands of british soldiers could escape home. Erwin Rommel had surrounded five divisions of the French First Army near Lille. Enduring concentrated German artillery fire and Luftwaffe strafing and bombs, the outnumbered French stood their ground. On 2 June (the day the last of the British units embarked onto the ships), the French began to fall back slowly, and by 3 June the Germans were about 2 miles (3.2 km) from Dunkirk. The night of 3 June was the last night of evacuations. At 10:20 on 4 June, the Germans hoisted the swastika over the docks from which so many British and French troops had escaped. The desperate resistance of Allied forces, especially the French forces, including the French 12th Motorised Infantry Division from the Fort des Dunes, had bought time for the evacuation of the bulk of the troops. The Wehrmacht captured some 35,000 soldiers, almost all of them French. These men had protected the evacuation until the last moment and were unable to embark. The same fate was reserved for the survivors of the French 12th Motorised Infantry Division (composed in particular of the French 150th Infantry Regiment); they were taken prisoner on the morning of 4 June on the beach of Malo-les-Bains. The flag of this regiment was burnt so as not to fall into enemy hands.

Very much channeling James May for his anger.
