Thanks for the video, looking to plant a jackfruit v. Cheena tree in the next month or so. Planning on keeping it at 10-15 feet.
Great presentation. One small comment, all fruit trees do not prefer full sun. Jabuticaba seedlings do not like full sun. Cacao will do best in dappled sunlight as well. Again, great presentation.
Good points! Thanks so much.
I didn't know the F&S park offered budwood.
Can I grow jackfruits in Clevistom and Lavelle, Florida?
You might have better luck in Clewiston because the lake will give you some cold protection.
Can you repeat/explain what you said about watering when fertilizing? at around 33:20, didn't quite catch/understand what you meant there....Thanks!!
If it had to do with chelated iron, the ground should be wet before you put it out. It's best to do it after a good rain.
Where is the best/economical place to buy jackfruit plants to start from please in south florida?
Hi there, I have a list of tropical fruit nurseries on my webpage: sfyl.ifas.ufl.edu/miami-dade/agriculture/tropical-fruit-production/
