The burnt milk isn't necessarily something you have to live with. The Aeroccino 3(s) we had used to burn the milk too, until I realised how to avoid it. It's a bit tedious at first, but once you get into a routine it becomes second nature. The trick is this: after every single use, don't just rinse the unit out, but also wipe the bottom (inside) with a washing-up sponge (don't use the scouring side, just the spongy bit). This is because whenever you use it, the milk leaves behind an invisible film of fatty residue. It's this that burns the next time you use it. Rinsing with water won't remove it, but the sponge gets it off. It's worth doing this because if you constantly let the milk burn and then scrape it off, the non-stick coating will start wearing thin and the burning will get worse - leading to more scrubbing, leading to a thinner coating, leading to more severe burning, and so on... and all this will eventually cause the heating element to fail (I know this from experience). If you use the Aeroccino again immediately after heating/frothing some milk, it's also worth cooling it by rinsing with cold water, or the pre-heated element will get hotter than usual, again leading to a risk of burning.
The difference also is that first button milk is perfectly made for macchiato cold, second button hot milk, 3rd cappuccino and 4 latte macchiato. You welcome.
Having had my aeroccino 4 for about 5 months now, I thought I'd share some tips. It seems that the timer on it works by the heat of the milk. The colder the milk to start with, the longer the time it runs and thus the more foam you get. I initially made the mistake of putting cold milk in it and letting it stand for a while before starting it. The milk warms up and it doesn't run for so long which means less foam. If you put some cold water in it and let it stand for a minute before using it cools the machine down and the foam (even with semi skimmed) is amazing! I also got a tip from a nespresso support person: To give it an extra clean every now and then - fill it to the max milk line with really cold water and then set it going. JHope some of that is useful. 👍👍👍
The burnt milk problem is usually because there is some.old residue stuck on the bottom the best thing to do is when you use it rinse it out with hot water as long as there isn't burnt stuff on it then put it back with hot water still inside when you use it pour out the water and give it a wipe with paper towel never get burnt again
I must say I'm impressed with how you've turned heating milk into an interesting video, your style of explaining things is quite captivating, can't wait for your next video. New subscriber here
I just got mine today and I think it’s definitely worth the extra $20. I had the old one but my daughter put in a store-bought creamer end it burned the bottom so I decided to buy an upgrade and give her the old one LOL. This number four is way better than number three
Just a tidbit, I like extra froth, and even though I have a version 4, this is what I've discovered. Sometimes I like even more froth than what the "extra froth" setting can get me, and if you simply press the button again, the frother wont go for another round. It's probably heat sensitive and the frother probably figures your froth is hot enough.....BUT what I do is after I do an "extra froth" spin cycle, I've found I can press the far left button, the cold froth cycle, and it will spin my milk and cream mixture for another minute or so. Thought A2B? have you tried that one?
Managed to bag one of these free direct from Nespresso when ordering 160 Original capsules plus got six of those sleeves free with rebates/mystery discount etc. Plus 25% off accessories (Affogato bowls and silicone ice cube tray). Best deal I’ve ever managed on an order from Nespresso. 👍🏻😊
That is an amazing deal! I’ll be scouring my account later to see if there’s anything available for me now 😅 Thanks for sharing and enjoy your new Aeroccino4 😁👍🏼
@@A2BProductions AFAIK normally you can’t stack promo codes or deals so I was very surprised that I managed to get the free sleeves, and mystery discount (both automatically appeared at checkout) in addition to the promo code (milky) for the free Aeroccino 4. I didn’t need any more coffee as still have loads of capsules in stock but this deal was too good to miss.
@@A2BProductions - Also, the free Aeroccino 4 doesn’t appear to be limited to only one per account. I checked to see if I qualified for another one by adding 160 capsules to my basket and it does indeed add a free Aeroccino 4. 👍🏻 Could make a nice gift for someone.
Not sure I’ve come across that problem. Maybe the odd time when using the latte macchiato setting. I’ve actually just opened a new Aeroccino4 today so I’ll keep an eye on that 👍🏼
Hi 👋 We do have a few videos where we try plant based milks in the aeroccino 3 and aeroccino 4 if I remember right. Might be best to check out our plant based milks for Nespresso playlist 🙂
It depends on the exact milk type and brand. I have tried all the ones available to me and have a few favourites. It even makes a difference if it’s eg alpro almond fresh from fridge or long life version. So best to trial yourself.
That's a good question. I gave my aeroccino4 to a friend when I got the creatista but I'll try and get hold of another and do a few recipe videos with it 👍
How does it does whit coconut milk ? I am vegan for 7 years now and i drink only vegan latte,s and vegan iced coffees😊i love this review on the hot and cold milk frother of nesspresso
Top review! Great explanation. All point's covered. I've just bought a mint De'Longhi Magnifica ESAM-4200. It has a built in steamer/Milk frother. It's ok good even. But i want more. Thanks to your review I'm going to go ahead and buy ones of these. Thanks very much indeed for sharing....Nice one.
How is the milk compare to the steam wand from the creatista the range? Would love to see a comparison video to see if it's worth the upgrade to get the machine
We definitely prefer the milk from the Creatistas but have been without our Creatista for a few weeks now (as it's in for repair under the warranty) and have been surprised that we haven't missed it as much as we thought we would. Sure we'll be thinking 'how did we survive without it?!' once we have it back though 😂 Will definitely try and and do a video comparison soon 👍
A great piece of kit, silent running and so nice looking, will posh up any kitchen. And the best bit, it does a brilliant job of doing what it should without burning the milk or you when you drink it. Thanks
Fair review thanks. For me, I have never experienced burned milk in my Ae4. Using 3,5% milk gives you more froth, if you like, with the macchiato button on the right. And, for latte macchiato I recommend to use a separate little espresso jug to pour it in without creating a mess. What seems impossible is latte art cappuccino. The right texture of the milk/froth is hardly doable to paint a heart etc. It helps a bit to pour the prepared milk into another jug and back once or twice or to stir it with a spoon before pouring it over the espresso. But with some fantasy, simple 'art' is possible by saving the last bit of espresso crema and dropping it in any form on top of the froth if you will. Overall, stylish, easy, silent and great for daily use. No need, imo, to put it in the dish washer. You might need it again soon :-) so why not just clean it by hand, a matter of one minute.
Thanks for that. Do you mind me asking which setting you tend to use? It seems to always burn on mine when using the extra froth setting. Yeah latte art is something I need to start learning, like your little crema tip 👍 We just clean it by hand between uses too as it's so quick.
A2B Productions Thank you for your reply. I play around a bit, so to say. This is, I sometimes create macchiato with the button on the far right, then again try it with the cappuccino button. Also I am experimenting with different types of milk. Sometimes the relation milk - froth is not good, another time it works well. Thanks.
I have tried to use this with extra foam setting and what it doesn't do is latte art. now I only use it to warm my milk up because microwave is not doing the job right
Haven’t tried it but would be great to hear if others have found a way 🙂 I’m pretty sure putting ice in an aeroccino would break it but may be a workaround 🤔
@@A2BProductions I don't mean putting ice into the frother. I can pour in chilled cold brew coffee. Hope that works. I wonder if anyone has tried that method.
Being honest I probably wouldn't as I'd worry about it breaking the mechanism or spring. Please do let us know how you get on if you do give it a go it though.
A suggestion for future videos about milk frothing would be to use a Nespresso Recipe Glass instead of a cup as it will show the level of froth more clearly.
Thanks for the suggestion, we did buy some not long after making this video so please do check out our more recent ones if you want to see the froth better👍
Hey Adam, I just got one of these, or what I thought was one of these from Nespresso Australia. it seems they've redesigned it so that the base looks identical to the 3. have you seen this design change? is the new one to yours or anybody's knowledge still dishwasher safe? I'm going to ring machine assistance just to be sure but I can't see how it could be with the buttons in the base. this seems like a plus because the base looks identical to the 3 so if you have the Citiz&Milk it would seem that you could just add the 4 to it in place of the 3. has anyone else seen this? thoughts?
an update on this, I called Nespresso and they said that there are 2 Aero4s on the market, the one as shown here and the one I have which is essentially the same jug but built in a unit that is more or less a fancier Aeroccino 3 and sits on the same base as that unit. when the customer service person (who was extremely helpful) tried to place an order for one of the few 4s as you know them that were still in a warehouse here in Aus the system rejected her leading her to believe that they have been discontinued. the only real positive I see with this new design is that it could fit a Citiz&Milk but otherwise it's a real shame. it's not the end of the world for me as I was only looking for a secondary frother to go along side my creatista for when I make a lot of coffees but still a shame to see a good product go.
Thanks for updating on this Chris and sorry for the delay coming back to you! Yes there is a new aeroccino 4 and sounds like you have it 👍🏼 I actually bought another one not so long ago as gave mine to a friend but really missed having one 😅 Think I might have a slight Nespresso addiction 🤣 The one they sent me was the same as the one in this video though. Not sure if the new one is available in the UK yet but will try and get hold of one when it does come to market and review it 😁
Thanks for your review it's really helpful. Is the jug really dishwasher safe - it has that metal bit on the bottom to connect to the base and I'm worried I'm going to break it if I put it in the dishwasher?
Hi there, do you think is always necessary to rinse it in between uses. For instance if I make some warm milk to go with the coffee and then I want some froth on top do I need to rinse it after I warm the milk and make the froth?
I would wash it to be honest as it can burn milk on sometimes and pretty sure the aeroccinos have a heat sensor, so it might not froth properly on the second use if you don’t rinse it out (cold water at the end) in between.
Just re watching this video as just purchased this to go with my essenza mini! Have you ever put it in the dishwasher? & do u just give it a wipe round after each use ? Worried using a kitchen dishmatic will scratch the inside. Thanks 😊
We don't have a dishwasher so we just wash it out by hand after each use (without submerging it in water obviously) It's a quick enough process and you don't have to wait for the dishwasher to finish before having another coffee 😉
Great review (as they all are from your channel!) Can I ask? With mine (new one) using semi skimmed milk and the extra froth setting, I get barely any froth. The machine runs for 57 seconds. I seem to get more froth on the normal froth setting. Does that sound about right?
Hi there, thanks for that. It's funny you should ask this as I had the exact same question on our heat test video the other day. Hope it's not a faulty batch as that doesn't sound right to me at all. I get a lot more froth from the Latte Macchiato setting / extra froth, froths right up to the lid when I use around 150 ml of milk I think it is (about half way up the black dot on the top of the whisk) I did have to get a replacement whisk sent out by Nespresso in the past, though, as mine stopped frothing properly. That fixed it and has worked perfectly ever since. Hope this helps.
Apologies if this is a dumb question - I’ve never used an aeroccino before! Do you have to press the button for warm milk first and then press again for one of the foam options? Or if you put cold milk in it and then just choose the froth option, will your milk be warmed up? Thanks
Hi. No don't worry, it can be confusing if you've never used one can't it. You just put the milk in, select the froth option you want and the aeroccino will heat and froth the milk at the same time, unless you use the cold milk setting of course. No need to do it seperately.
A2B Productions perfect thanks! A few seconds makes all the difference in the morning when getting ready and making breakfast etc!! 😴 didn’t want to spend £60 and have a lengthy process to get frothy warm milk!
Thanks for that! It's not recommended but the question has been asked so many times in the comments now, I think I'm going to have to give it a go on camera and hope the aeroccino survives 😅
I’ve used the whittards hot chocolate powder and put it in the Aeroccino 4 then just on the hot milk setting and it’s been really nice. Probably isn’t recommended but I was curious 😂
I like your reviews. The aeroccino 3 works much better with soy milk. The 4 makes no foam at all. I’m not sure why this is as everyone says the 4 makes more dense foam but in my case my 3 is definitely better. Really puzzled by this 😂 especially since I only got the 4 for the dense texture but all I get is heated liquid.
Yeah that’s strange isn’t it. I’ll have to root out my aeroccino 3 and try them now as you have me intrigued! Out of interest have you tried the aeroccino 4 with normal milk in case it’s a general fault with the whisk? I only ask as mine stopped frothing well at one point but Nespresso sent a new whisk out and it fixed the issue.
A2B Productions It’s brand new, I just received it but yes I did think of going out and buying regular milk just to compare. If you try it out at any point let me know what happens. Thanks!
Yeah we have a couple of video reviews where we've tested alternative milks in the aeroccino 4, one comparing the standard Alpro ones and then another testing some other barista edition oat milks in case you want to search for those 👍
Excellent video, just a couple of questions.... Is it a finger print magnet ? Is it available in white as I can’t find one anywhere in white ? Cheers 👍🏼
Thanks, glad it helped. Yeah it does show up fingerprints and water drips quite a lot, so do end up having to buff it up. And the 4 is currently just available in metal, the aeroccino 3 is available in white, black and red though.
A2B Productions Think I’ll wait for the aeroccino 4 to be released in white (hopefully) hammered your videos today and subbed 👌🏼 Btw you can’t call her ‘the wife’ .... you could at least say something like my glamorous assistant 🤣 keep up the good work Lanks guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I just got the 4 and also noticed that bit of burnt milk on the bottom,I thought it was just the brand of milk but since you've experienced it I guess the 4 does run hotter
I have hard water & I would rather not have to descale my ,machine. So can I use mineral water for the coffee or will it ruin the taste? anyone? thanks
Another brilliant review!!!! Do you take the spring / whisk bit off when you hand clean / wipe it? If you were making coffee for several people, would you clean it in between each one or just rinse it?
Hi there. We do rinse it out between each use which is one downside if making drinks for several people. With the spring, it seems to clean fairly well with it being left on but we do remove it if we feel it needs a more thorough clean. Hope this helps.
Good review...deciding between aero 3 or 4...wanting the 4 but its $100 Canadian dollars difference between the two as the aero 3 is now bundled with the machine at a cheaper price
Thanks! Have you seen the aeroccino 3 vs aeroccino 4 vs Barista Recipe Maker video we did recently? Might help you to decide. $100 is a big difference isn't it and would probably say go with the aeroccino 3 with that much of a price difference. That being said, I do love the handle on the aero 4 and the extra froth setting.
Yes i have watched your videos informative and entertaining...i will be going with the vertuoplus deluxe and still contemplating on the aero 3 or 4 as the $100 diff is quite a lot...although im thinking i might regret not pushing the budget for an aero 4😆
Cheers. I don't do latte art myself - yet 😅 - but from what other subscribers have said in the comments, the aeroccinos are probably not the best choice for latte art. Some have said they've achieved it but others say it won't work. The Creatista machines are supposed to be good for it - we've reviewed them recently - but they're not cheap. They are on a half price offer in the UK for a couple more days on the Nespresso website though, in case that might work for you.
@@A2BProductions thanks for the tip. I've sold my Breville Touch since I prefer a super automatic so went for a Jura ENA 8. I just miss the milk frother from the Breville since it was great for lattes.
I'm wondering if making frothed milk for a Cafe Latte it would not make the milk very hot because you would have to use more milk than the bottom fill line you use for the max froth setting. Have you made frothed milk for a cafe latte and was it hot? Also how do you, make a cafe latte, do you mix max frothed milk with regular frothed milk?
I have used it to make a latte but I wasn't being too particular with getting a lot more foam on the top. The heat has never been a problem for me with this Aeroccino and suppose you could use a mix of the different settings to achieve the desired effect. I'll have another go soon and come back to you if that's ok.
Thanks for this detailed demo and review. Very helpful. Has anyone measured the temperature of the milk at the moment that the machine finishes frothing and heating? Thanks.
Best one we've used to date is the Oatly Barista Edition oat milk. We did a review of it in case it helps but can't remember if I was using a the aeroccino 3 then. Also did a video trying a few different alpro milks with one of the aerocinnos too. Hope this helps.
Yeah we've used the Aeroccino 3 and 4 with oat milk. We have a couple of videos on it actually. If you want frothy oat milk then I can recommend Oatly Barista edition which we've reviewed in the past.
So if you want to make a cappuccino is hot milk setting the best or the normal froth setting ? I want a creamy milk so i can make art when i do a cappucino, or should i buy a the other more expensive Nespresso milk machine ?
To be honest if you're wanting to do latte art you might be best off with one of the Creatista machines we've reviewed recently. They're not cheap but you have a lot more control over the froth. I've heard some subscribers say they've managed it with an Aeroccino but others says it's not really possible.
It's a funny one this as I've always found full fat milk (4% is it?) froths best but have heard some say skimmed milk does. Personally, I've never had a problem with semi skimmed with the Aeroccino 4 - especially on extra froth setting - but found full fat to be better.
Great review! I wish I could see the cold foam over a cup of iced coffee in a clear cup to see the amount of foam better. Do you know if you can add a sweetener to the machine while making cold foam? I’m trying to achieve the cascara cold foam taste.
Thanks! We're going to have a go at some iced coffees soon so do look out for those. Will be making them in the recipe glasses from Nespresso. As for the other question, I just asked Nespresso and they don't recommend putting anything other than milk in the Aeroccino 4. You can put syrups and things into the Barista Recipe Maker, though. They include them on some of the recipes actually. We unboxed that recently and have used it in one or two of our recent vids. Will be using it more and reviewing it in upcoming vids too, so hope they help a bit.
Thank you for the review! I just bought one myself but I've only used it for the max froth. Great to see the other options! What kind of milk do you use?
My stores dindt have an aeroccino 4😑 i dind order 1 from amazone cause i ordered a mr iced coffee maker and they never diliverd it. I did got my 114 euro,s that i payed for the mr coffee iced coffee maker back from amazone. But thats not what i wanted. So now i am a little bit scared that wen i ordermy aeroccino 4 it doesnt come or they will have an exusse to not send it. I looked in every store today. So many milk frothers. But they do don,t have 4 settings on them. They only do heated foam milk or you get cold foam milk. They do not heat milk only. And some of them don,t do cold foam at all and they charge you 39,00 euro,s or more for a machine thats not as good as the aeroccino 4. Too bad that you only can get it online😑 i only drink iced coffee and iced latte,s both vegan. I use soy milk or coconut milk. I don,t drink hot coffee but i love hot chocolate in the winter 😊
I was wondering if the aeroccino 3 can use the pad/stand from the aero 4? And aeroccino 4 in rhe pad/stand that comes with the aero 3? I mean will it connect?
Hi there. I've just checked them and the fitting is the same but I'm reluctant to set it off in case I break it 😬 Wonder if anyone else has tried this? There are differences between them, like with the aeroccino 4 you never remove the whisk so not sure if that means the base unit operates it differently to the 3 (maybe for the extra froth setting too). Also the buttons to operate the 4 are on the base itself whereas with the 3 it's on the frother, so not sure if you could get the the best out of the 4 without the base.
Hi mate, wondering if i could get your input on something. I have an Aeroccino 4, and notice when I leave it switched on (after using it to heat milk) the base unit emits a constant high pitched noise, even when the lights eventually all turn off. I think 'coil-whine' is the term! Does yours do this also? So at the moment I switch it off at the plug, not sure if this is a defect or not? :/
No we've never noticed that mate, might be worth getting in touch with Nespresso if it's in warranty. A battery charger for another electrical item I have does that, though, and it's very annoying! I only put up with it as it reminds me to turn the charger off so I don't ruin it. Couldn't live with it on my Aerocinno 4.
@@A2BProductions Thanks for getting back to me. Should be in warranty, bought it less than 30 days ago lol. Yeah, it's quite faint but once you hear it you can't unhear it!! I'll give them a call tomorrow.
Actually, sorry but just went really close to mine and I can hear what you're describing. I've never noticed it until now, bet it's all I hear now though. Thanks 😂 Our house is pretty loud with two kids and a dog running round so probably why I haven't noticed it.
A2B Productions lol! Sorry if I’ve ruined it for you! Mine I can hear from about 10ft away. So I think I’ll still give them a call! Thanks for following up though, much appreciated!
No you haven't mate. Mine's definitely not that loud, so yeah worth giving them a call I think. If it was as loud as the charger I mentioned I'd definitely be calling them. Hope you get it sorted!
Hi, I just received this and have only used it once. I found the result not to be very hot at all. Will give it a little time to work out the kinks. Also, note that it is NOT dishwasher safe at all. Thanks, Robert
Hi Robert, thanks for your comment! I've never had a problem with heat on this, especially on the max froth setting. Hope this improves for you. Also, it is listed as dishwasher proof (obviously the base is not, just the frother itself) but I haven't tested this to be fair as I just rinse it out by hand.
Thank you very much for your reply. I used 1/2 and 1/2 which I love in my coffee. It came right out of the refrigerator. I poured it just below the lowest line since I usually don’t put that much cream in my coffee. I used the last button on the right. It was just warm. Am I supposed to pre-heat the milk? My apologies about the dishwasher. It DOES say you can put it in a dishwasher. I didn’t get that far in reading the directions for two reasons: 1. I don’t have a dish washer 2. I read the HAND WASHING section and it says do not immerse it in water so I just thought putting it in a dishwasher would be basically the same as immersing it in water, I guess it isn’t. I will try it again; Maybe right now, it is 11:00pm because with this virus I tend to stay up all night and sleep all day. Thanks again and be safe! Wash your hand (not in the dishwasher!) Robert
Ah yes, I think putting it in a dishwasher is different to submerging in water. I'm like you, don't have a dishwasher so that's why I hadn't tested it. As for the heat of the milk it sounds right what you're doing. The milk doesn't come out piping hot but it's certainly hotter than the Aeroccino 3 that I had. It's hot enough to burn the milk slightly on the bottom with mine, this wipes off easily enough though. Maybe give it a couple more goes and call Nespresso if you think there's an issue with it, or even return it if you're not happy with it.
I have now figured this Frother out so that I am pleased with it. I heat extra water up and after I have made my coffee using the “pour-over” process I fill the frother with hot water and let it sit for about 30 seconds. I empty the water and put 5 Tbl of my 1/2&1/2 in the frother and turn it on. Shortly after, I have warmer froth than before. It still doesn’t froth all of the Cream to the same froth thickness but it is good enough. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know, thanks. R
When I bought my machine it came with the Aeroccino 3, but i've just ordered the Aeroccino 4 after wanting the milk to be hotter and less foamy. My issue is... what do i do with the Aeroccino 3 now haha???
You pour the milk froth in a cup, then what? It is too thick for latte or cappuccino, can only be eaten with a spoon. Lovely froth but totally useless?
Hi there, guess you're meaning the latte macchiato setting (extra froth). This one has been designed to pour the coffee in second, to get that band of coffee settling in the middle of the glass. It then gradually mixes with the milk as you drink. The other settings produce less froth. Hope this helps.
This video was filmed a while ago to be fair and the price has gone up since then. I bought another recently (as gave this one to a friend) and cost me more second time around 😅
This thing is a pile of junk, works fine for maybe 3 to 4 drinks and then you get issues with the wisk not spinning. Have to nudge it with my finger to get the silly Flintstone machine to work. Tried the fax steps before anyone mentions it its just this thing is not worth the money for crap build and life.
You welcome.
excellent
I love that explanation
All very useful tips and tricks 👍🏼👍🏼
What type of milk are you using? My froth is so thick I can’t even pour it into a cup.
I really dont think that putting water in it will do anything for cleaning if its full of deposited milk fat. You know that its dishwasher safe right?
The burnt milk problem is usually because there is some.old residue stuck on the bottom the best thing to do is when you use it rinse it out with hot water as long as there isn't burnt stuff on it then put it back with hot water still inside when you use it pour out the water and give it a wipe with paper towel never get burnt again
I must say I'm impressed with how you've turned heating milk into an interesting video, your style of explaining things is quite captivating, can't wait for your next video.

Thanks for the support Richard!
bought the 4 and now i wait for the delivery. :D great review, cheers!
Thanks and hope you like the frother 👍🏼
I just got mine today and I think it’s definitely worth the extra $20. I had the old one but my daughter put in a store-bought creamer end it burned the bottom so I decided to buy an upgrade and give her the old one LOL. This number four is way better than number three
Yeah I agree, not a lot extra to pay for the extra features and hotter milk on the max froth setting too 👍
My red light buttons all blink, will not allow me to set the high froth setting.
Thank you for your review. I'm sold!
Thanks and glad it helped 👍🏼
Just a tidbit, I like extra froth, and even though I have a version 4, this is what I've discovered. Sometimes I like even more froth than what the "extra froth" setting can get me, and if you simply press the button again, the frother wont go for another round. It's probably heat sensitive and the frother probably figures your froth is hot enough.....BUT what I do is after I do an "extra froth" spin cycle, I've found I can press the far left button, the cold froth cycle, and it will spin my milk and cream mixture for another minute or so. Thought A2B? have you tried that one?
Haven't tried it yet but sounds like a good idea. Have to buy another Aeroccino 4 now as I gave mine to a friend as a gift 😂
Very good of you to share that info! Sounds like you have a great delivery on the way ☕️😁 Thanks 😊
@@A2BProductions - Also, the free Aeroccino 4 doesn’t appear to be limited to only one per account. I checked to see if I qualified for another one by adding 160 capsules to my basket and it does indeed add a free Aeroccino 4. 👍🏻
Could make a nice gift for someone.
Brilliant, I’ll try it out later. Thanks again 😊👍🏼
i use DOUBLE CREAM milk...i love my new aeroccino 4
but problem is it LEAKS in the spout area...while making my milk even i follow the line
Not sure I’ve come across that problem. Maybe the odd time when using the latte macchiato setting. I’ve actually just opened a new Aeroccino4 today so I’ll keep an eye on that 👍🏼
How well can it froth plant base milk?
Hi 👋 We do have a few videos where we try plant based milks in the aeroccino 3 and aeroccino 4 if I remember right. Might be best to check out our plant based milks for Nespresso playlist 🙂
It depends on the exact milk type and brand. I have tried all the ones available to me and have a few favourites. It even makes a difference if it’s eg alpro almond fresh from fridge or long life version. So best to trial yourself.
Is it suitable for Latte Art by using the mouth of Aerocino 4?
Love my aerocinno 4 .. which button you recommend for a flat white ? Would love it if you done a video of making one with this frother Thanks
That's a good question. I gave my aeroccino4 to a friend when I got the creatista but I'll try and get hold of another and do a few recipe videos with it 👍
@@A2BProductions Ah that would be great . Your videos are brilliant thanks
Cheers, glad it helped. I'll take a look at that machine you've got, can't resist it when people mention new stuff 😂
A great video and really helpful in making my decision
Brilliant, great to hear 👍
Thanks
Couldn't agree more! Still loving mine and had it for months now.
This was so helpful! Great review, thank you! ☺️
Thanks Laura, glad it helped 👍🏼
Thanks.
Yeah the far right button creates a great latte macchiato doesn't it 👍 It's also crazy how different milks create different textures.
@@A2BProductions Absolutely. Enjoy and cheers
I have tried to use this with extra foam setting and what it doesn't do is latte art. now I only use it to warm my milk up because microwave is not doing the job right
Fantastic replacement for our old aerochino 3 worth every penny
Yeah it's so worth the extra £10 isn't it 👍
Do you think it is possible to do Nitro Ice Coffee with the cold froth button?
Haven’t tried it but would be great to hear if others have found a way 🙂 I’m pretty sure putting ice in an aeroccino would break it but may be a workaround 🤔
@@A2BProductions
I don't mean putting ice into the frother. I can pour in chilled cold brew coffee. Hope that works. I wonder if anyone has tried that method.
Have you tried using Half & Half in it?
I haven’t you know. I’ve actually just had to look up what half and half is 😅 Will give it a go if I get another Aeroccino4 in future.
@@A2BProductions 👍
I just bought my own Aeroccino 4 and i was wondering if it’s ok to add ice inside with the milk to make extra cold foam? Thanks!
Being honest I probably wouldn't as I'd worry about it breaking the mechanism or spring. Please do let us know how you get on if you do give it a go it though.
so how hot does the milk get in the hot milk setting?
I don't think I've tested the heat on that setting but I'll try and get hold of another aeroccino 4 and let you know if I do.
A suggestion for future videos about milk frothing would be to use a Nespresso Recipe Glass instead of a cup as it will show the level of froth more clearly.
Thanks for the suggestion, we did buy some not long after making this video so please do check out our more recent ones if you want to see the froth better👍
When you cold(or hot) froth ,can you put cocoa powder together with the milk inside?
I know some people do this but I don't think Nespresso recommend it as it could cause issues.
@@A2BProductions ok I just did it(and with coffee too) ,nothing went wrong .so far
Thanks for that. We used it a couple of times in the dishwasher and didn’t have any problems 👍🏼
@@A2BProductions Ok, thanks.
You helped me decide between 3 and 4. Thanks
Glad we could help 👍
Just re watching this video as just purchased this to go with my essenza mini! Have you ever put it in the dishwasher? & do u just give it a wipe round after each use ? Worried using a kitchen dishmatic will scratch the inside. Thanks 😊
We don't have a dishwasher so we just wash it out by hand after each use (without submerging it in water obviously) It's a quick enough process and you don't have to wait for the dishwasher to finish before having another coffee 😉
A2B Productions thankyou 😌 don’t think I will be putting it in the dishwasher 🤣 x
Excellent review - can you make hot chocolate by adding the powder / choc flakes into the cannister and turning it on?
Thanks for that! It's not recommended but the question has been asked so many times in the comments now, I think I'm going to have to give it a go on camera and hope the aeroccino survives 😅
@@A2BProductions haha please do! Look forward to seeing it reviewed. Tempted to get this over the hotel Chocolat velvetiser
I’ve used the whittards hot chocolate powder and put it in the Aeroccino 4 then just on the hot milk setting and it’s been really nice. Probably isn’t recommended but I was curious 😂
Awesome review
Thanks! Glad it helped ☕️🙂👍🏼
thank you so much for your video ! I really appreciate all your explaination !
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks!
A2B Productions I bought a different soy milk which is slightly sweetened and it seems to froth better, nice texture.
Good to hear. Are you in the UK by the way? The Oatly Barista Edition froths well if you like oat milk?
A2B Productions I’m in Canada and we have just recently gotten the Oatly brand here. I will give it a go next. Thank you for the recommendation!
Great video Ty . Oh by the way ! You sound just like Peter Kay 👍🏻
Haha thanks, glad you liked it 👍
Great review! Curious about non dairy milk like soy or almond milk? Have you tried these?
Yeah we have a couple of video reviews where we've tested alternative milks in the aeroccino 4, one comparing the standard Alpro ones and then another testing some other barista edition oat milks in case you want to search for those 👍
Mayby compare to dolce gusto?
Excellent video, just a couple of questions....
Is it a finger print magnet ?
Is it available in white as I can’t find one anywhere in white ?
Cheers 👍🏼
Thanks, glad it helped. Yeah it does show up fingerprints and water drips quite a lot, so do end up having to buff it up. And the 4 is currently just available in metal, the aeroccino 3 is available in white, black and red though.
A2B Productions Think I’ll wait for the aeroccino 4 to be released in white (hopefully) hammered your videos today and subbed 👌🏼
Btw you can’t call her ‘the wife’ .... you could at least say something like my glamorous assistant 🤣 keep up the good work Lanks guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Hiya thanks for this video as I am considering buying.... however this is now £89!!
Yeah it really has gone up in price hasn’t it 😅
I wasn’t sure about these confusing buttons. Thanks for clarifying that
Yes there are a few more buttons on the Aeroccino 4 but simple once you know what they're for. Thanks!
Brilliant review!!! Great to include measurements :-)
Thank you! 👍
I just got the 4 and also noticed that bit of burnt milk on the bottom,I thought it was just the brand of milk but since you've experienced it I guess the 4 does run hotter
Guess so Sean. I don't mind as I want the hot foam, as long as it doesn't cause issues over time. Will do another video if it does.
Sean Neild I have the 3 and mine has burnt milk on the bottom as well. Im sure the 4 runs hotter but the burnt milk is normal.
@@A2BProductions thanks. Yep very helpful 👍👍👍
Thanks for the review, would this one be good for Latte art and on what setting?
Great review!
Thanks!
From Philippines..i got mine today 🥰
Where did you buy yours?
Amazing review, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm about to buy first espresso machine ever, and I'm planning buying Citiz and separately Aeroccino 4. Thanks foe the rewiev
That's what I have and I'm really happy with them both. Hope you like them!
I love cold chocolate milk too. Its deliciouse in the summer😊
Thanks for this detailed demo and review. Very helpful. Has anyone measured the temperature of the milk at the moment that the machine finishes frothing and heating? Thanks.
Glad it helped! That's a video I've been meaning to do actually, measuring the temps of all 3 Nespresso frothers, thanks for reminding me 👍
Does anyone use almond milk/oat milk with it?
Best one we've used to date is the Oatly Barista Edition oat milk. We did a review of it in case it helps but can't remember if I was using a the aeroccino 3 then. Also did a video trying a few different alpro milks with one of the aerocinnos too. Hope this helps.
@@A2BProductions It does help. Thank you! I'll head over and watch them
Could you buy this to heat up oat milk and then mix it with regular instant coffee granules?
What type of milk froths the best? I thought you said skim, or 2%, ???? I do have this one - the 4....and some milks froth better than others.
Hi Karen! I use semi-skimmed myself. No need for whole milk with the Aeroccino 4. Hope you enjoy using it, so much better than the Aeroccino 3!
@@A2BProductions am using full cream and there is no foam even in the max level, is this normal or should I return it ☹️

Hey! Very very nice demonstration. Really helpful. Also loved the accent. May I ask from where in England you are from?
Thanks! I'm from Lancashire in the North West. Same area as the current Top Gear presenters if you've seen that?
So helpful! Thanks
So glad!
Great review thank you. As a bonus if you are an Expert or Ambassador member at Nespresso you get 20% off, so only £48!
Thanks. Yeah I got that deal too, good discount really isn't it. Especially if you get free delivery when ordering pods too.
Great review, No Nonsense Approved 👌🏽.
My girlfriend will be very happy come Xmas morning pouring some frothy milk into her cappuccino.

Big yes! Aeroccino 4 is much better :)
Can you heat things kn it but not foam
Hi, I just received this and have only used it once. I found the result not to be very hot at all. Will give it a little time to work out the kinks. Also, note that it is NOT dishwasher safe at all.
Thanks,
Robert
Wash your hand (not in the dishwasher!)
Robert
Ah yes, I think putting it in a dishwasher is different to submerging in water. I'm like you, don't have a dishwasher so that's why I hadn't tested it.
As for the heat of the milk it sounds right what you're doing. The milk doesn't come out piping hot but it's certainly hotter than the Aeroccino 3 that I had. It's hot enough to burn the milk slightly on the bottom with mine, this wipes off easily enough though. Maybe give it a couple more goes and call Nespresso if you think there's an issue with it, or even return it if you're not happy with it.
Nespresso lists the unit as dishwasher safe. The base with the electric cord, however, is not.
Is it attached to the machine? I just sold mine on eBay.
A2B Productions it’s not attached, yeah I could try reselling. I just haven’t done that before haha I’m so late
Could also gift it to a friend or neighbour, exciting thing to receive if you've never owned a milk frother before.
Nice vid thanks!
Thanks for watching!
cheers, just got ours!
Hope you like it, really happy with mine!
