Hi Tony, the EX-30 fits your machine and is on sale right now! You can call Skid Steer Solutions (866) 966-2538 or order on their sales page www.skidsteersolutions.com/ex-30-excavator-brush-mower-eterra/
Well, that's a tough question. Let me explain why you'd buy a Cyclone instead of an EX-30. A Cyclone Rotary cutter by Eterra has a two-blade specialized carrier and the housing can be open or closed. When open, you can run alongside a ditch line or tree line and cut them down. It's going to do that kind of work a lot faster and it's going to cut a lot bigger material ( 4" +). The EX-30 can operate in the same conditions however it's better in 4" material minus. The EX-30 or bigger flails will mulch SO MUCH better than the Cyclone will. Does that make sense? Comment back and let us know.
There are faster ways to mow, but I like what appears to be a new toe to work with a hydraulic thumb. How many gpm does this need for optimum function on a mini-ex?
There's always a bigger and faster machine to mow, but it isn't usually compatible with your current equipment. I'd take a dedicated $250K + tracked mulcher machine any day but for the fellas needing to mow roadsides, across ditches and high up, that's where the EX-30 / 40 and 50 steal the show. The Eterra Flail mowers are built to spec to fit with the machine it's classified for, so mini EX that are 3-Ton to 7-Ton and 13-25 GPM is the optimum flow your after. It won't tip your machine in that class at full reach in the majority of machines. It's fast, it's computer balanced and reliable for years and years.
Great question! The answer is NO. It's very unfortunate, we'd love this feature is well. You'll want to look at the other manufacturers for this feature. I believe this a feature of certain Bobcat Min Excavators. For a Flail Mower that works well with all compact Excavators, the EX-30 is computer balanced, and has the perfect weight, strength and cut capacity that you'll require!
does it only cut in one direction ?
he just gave that field strong wifi signal
Interested,I have a kabota 121-3ss.

How does this compare to the Cyclone on a similar machine

Hey Minnesota Eric! Are you considering an EX-30 yourself?
It must not cut very well moving left to right.
Thank you. Is the Kubota able to track forward while running the mower? Like would I be able to mow a roadside?
