So many chatters are hating on the video and Mark Rober. To me, it just seems like a man trying to have some fun playing a game he liked as a child, while introducing some science-y gimmicks for the viewers. Yes, he cheated the entire time, but it's obvious the actual players weren't mad about it. It's all just good fun.
However, I do understand the disdain for this video. It does feel more scripted than his other content, ngl.

@@asphalt187 The appeal of Mark Rober is that he uses engineering to solve the problem. In this case the "engineering" was minimal and half of it didn't even work. Also just using a completely different bat or a drone... like come on man. Not to mention scripting scenes where he uses it

Brother this video was probably the worst I've seen from mark rober in years. The videos are supposed to be educational around science but this viedo was just a scripted mess for kids with guns and a match that was just cringe cheating.
