@fredsteriskewll Sam and Quinn were always meant to date first (at least the spoilers of Quinn having something to do with Kurt getting a boyfriend suggested it) and that's what is happening onscreen now. I still believe Kurt/Sam is the story Murphy wants to tell. Blaine was always going to be in the picture, most likely not in as big of a role as he is now due to Darren's popularity, but still there (the spoilers of three new gay characters this season. 1. Blaine, 2. Karofsky, 3?).
I'm so upset he won't be back for season 3, I love Chord.

@whiteflamezz actually sam was initially casted to be kurt's boyfriend but then the producers liked his chemistry w/ quinn so they casted another person to be kurt's boyfriend.

@pauze2193 i think you're about 5 episodes behind if you still think that kurt has a crush on him. he has a crush on blaine... portrayed by damon criss.
@fredsteriskewll I don't trust Murphy 100%, but... changing the boyfriend to Blaine is a big step down from the storytelling viewpoint. All it takes for them to get together is for Blaine to say yes, for Sam there's a lot more drama and the issues of him being in denial/closet (ie. interesting TV). I can't see Blaine filling the shoes of the boyfriend Murphy envisioned for Kurt (the jock who likes Kurt back, a nice parallel to Finn and S1, them being the power-couple of McKinley & Prom Kings).

@ShortGunWedding uh no. he doesn't. he's actually not kurt's love interest. darren criss is. sam is dating quinn.
@fredsteriskewll Kurt didn't just stop liking Sam, he just found out he wasn't gay and backed off (because of his infatuation with Finn last season. And Blaine is played by DARREN Criss.
He's actually proabably going to end up being Kurts love interest.
I think right now he's uncomfortable about it, and that's why he changes the subject, but he had to have been oaky with it or they wouldn't have signed him.
I think they're gonna bring in Darren, and him and Kurt are gonna have a thing, and the Sam is gonna get MONDO UBER JEALOUS and realize that he really likes Kurt.
But I'm all up for some Chris/Darren Lovin'. nomnomnom :)

@fredsteriskewll try reading between the lines. my bet is that you're in for a surprise pretty soon (though... i guess it's technically possible that trollmurphs delays the reveal until season three).

@fredsteriskewll I know what they said, and I believe it as much as I believed Murphy when he said Idina was not Rachel's mom in S1. They have planned this storyline for a long time (since last May, I think) and the first rule of writing is that you know where the story is going, you don't do changes this big for something so flimsy (and subjective!) as chemistry. I guess it's possible, but my respect for Murphy goes down the drain in that case.
